Amaris hated that stupid fucking house, she hated everything about it. she hated the way the ivy clung to the brick climbing as it grew. she hated that the ivy made the house look almost like a brick home in a forest- almost like the house she's wanted since a 6 sitting in her fathers lap as he told some story of a princess living in the woods. she hated that it almost made her forget what happened in the house. what Becca Bell did to Andie and, more importantly, what she did to pip. she despised that fucking house and wanted to burn it to the ground. 

Maybe Jason bell could hear her thoughts because his head turned and his eyes darted between the eyes of the Fitz-Amobi twins, a glare that made pip quickly turn her eyes to the ground and amaris grit her teeth and force her steps to stay normal as Jasons glare threatened to make her stumble.

"so" ravi starts, hooking his arm around amaris' shoulder as he talked to pip, "you got this idea from someone on Reddit?" 

"Yeah, and it's a good theory, I should've thought of it." pipe nods 

"any other good tips since the ep went out?" Ravi asks as they trudge up the steep hill too the church and cemetery.

"no" amaris grumbles "just stupid trolls. apparently someone saw him in Paris"

"ok" pip murmurs "the redditor thinks the "left" in the note might refer to left-hand side. so let's check this way." she led them off the path and to the left side of the cemetery

"what's the name, hillary . . ."

"hillary F. Weiseman," Amaris answers her boyfriend as she reads the grave stones.

"died 2006" pip adds

"so you think nat lied to you?" ravi murmurs as he reads

"don't know, but they can't both be telling the truth; their accounts totally contradict each other." pip answers half her attention on the stones

"so either Nat da Silva or Tom Nowak is lying." amaris adds

"and I can't help but think that Nat would have more reason to. maybe Jamie did go to her house for a bit that night, and she just didn't want to say so in front of her boyfriend. He seems quite scary." pip mutters

"he thinks he's scary" amaris snorts

ravi pinches her side with a smile "what's his name again? Luke?" 

"Eaton, yeah. Or maybe she just didn't want to tell us she saw Jamie because she doesn't want to be involved." pip supplies another answer.

amaris nods "we didn't exactly treat her well last time." 

"or she could be lying because she's involved somehow. I got this weird feeling when we spoke to them about where they were Friday night, like I wasn't getting the full story." pip murmurs

"right like some of the reactions to the others words were weird." amaris puts in.

"but" ravi starts "Jamie was seen alive and well on Wyvil Road almost an hour after that. So if he did go to Nat's, he was fine when he left."

"i know, so then why lie about it? What is there to hide?" pip groans

"or tom could be lying" amaris shrugs. "I mean I hate Lauren but tom is a sack of shit"

"he could be, but why?" pip sighs "and how could he have known that that house belonged to someone who's . . . well, a person of interest?" amaris shrugs not having an answer to her question
