Amaris was alseep on Ravi's shoulder as pips car pulled up to where everyone decided to meet. After they picked up Ravi amaris leg herself fall agains his side and sleep soundly as he twirled her hair, eyes soft.

"Hey love, Mari we're here" he whispers gently into her hair

Pip turns the car off and glances back, "that won't work" she reached back and punched her leg making Mari jolt awake and slap at pip.

"Woah okay why are you guys so violent" Ravi laugh grabbing Mari's hand to stop her from hitting pip again. They climbed out of the car silently Ravi helping amaris into a jacket and zipping it up half way "you awake?" He smiles cupping her face eyes full of admiration when she nodded half heartedly.

"Where's Cara?" Pip asks as Mari and Ravi join her where Conner was standing
"She's just inside the car, on the phone with her sister, naomi must have noticed she'd snuck out. I don't think Cara was trying to be that quiet on her way out because, in her words, "Both my grandparents are practically deaf"." Conner laughs

The wind picked up ruffling Mari's hair and making her squeeze closer yo her boyfriend.
"Have you seen the comments?" Conner asks a certain tone in his voice that made Mari's skin crawl.

"Nog yet," pip responds "why?"

"It's been, like, three hours since you guys released the episode and a theory on Reddit has already gone viral." His voice was growing heavier

"which one?" Mari asks dread growing in her gut

"They think my dad killed Jamie." Conners eyes were dark with anger as he continued "They're saying he took the knife from our house and followed Jamie down Wyvil Road. Killed him, cleaned and dumped the knife and hid his body temporarily. That he was still out when I got home around midnight, because I didn't "actually see" my dad when I got in. And then he was absent at the weekend because he was out disposing of Jamie's body properly. Motive: my dad hates Jamie because
he's "such a fucking disappointment"."

Amaris flinched at the venom in his voice, he was angry. Angry at the comments, at the theory, and at them
"I told you not to read the comments," pip answers calmly trying to diffuse the situation before it started

"It's hard not to when people are accusing my dad of being a fucking murderer. He didn't do anything to Jamie. He wouldn't!" Conner yells

"She never said that. We never said that" amaris sighs out standing straight her body angled infront of pip.

"Well, it's your podcast they're commenting on. Where do you think they got those ideas?" Conner spits

"From their own fucked up brains! People are fucked up!" She sighs

"You asked us to do this, Connor. You accepted the risks that came with it." Pip says her voice still calm "All I've done is present the facts."

"Well the facts have nothing to do with my dad. If anyone's lying, it's Nat da Silva. Not him." Conner defends

"We're not arguing with you. All we are trying to
do is find Jamie, OK? That's all we're doing." Pip raises her hands in surrender. Up ahead where Cara's car was she stepped out and started walking towards them

"Yeah I know. But finding Jamie has nothing to
do with my dad." Conner insists

"Con-" ravi spoke up reaching towards him as Cara neared them Conner hadn't noticed yet though

"No, my dad is not a killer!" Conner yells pulling back and finally noticed Cara who had stiffened and eyes clouded over

Awkward silence falls over the group before Cara plastered on a strained smile, "can't relate" she shrugs feigning nonchalance "Don't we have a stake-out to do? Or are we gonna stand here chit-chatting
like lost lemons?"
