Aurora POV:

The next morning, I was woken up by Kaden stirring in bed. Not wanting to get up, I stayed in bed to get more sleep but Kaden had other plans.

"Darling, we have to go see Dumbledore." He said.

"Why?" I groaned out not moving.

"Because I have something to show him."

"Do I have to go with you?" I asked.

"If you don't, I'm not kissing you today."

I looked at him with a glare and he returned the glare. It looks like he wasn't backing down from this.

"Ugh, fine." I said getting out of bed.

"Good girl." I'll meet you in the common room." He said going over to his bag and putting something into it before leaving for the common room.

I went back to my dorm to wash up and change before I met Kaden in the common room. He took my hand and led us out of Ravenclaw tower and to the Headmaster's office. When we got there, Kaden spoke the password and we climbed the stairs to the oak doors. Kaden knocked twice before Dumbledore answered.

"Enter." He said.

We entered the headmaster's office and made our way over to his desk.

"Good morning you two, what can I do for you both this morning?" He asked looking over his half moon glasses.

Kaden took his bag  off his shoulder and reached in and pulled out an egg that looked like it was giving off electricity.

"This professor. Last night as I was coming back from my walk I spotted this egg in the forest and cautiously approached it. When I did, a Thunderbird landed in front of me and told me that she belonged to Dylan and that this egg was now mine along with the Thunderbird inside." Kaden explained.

"Ah, I see you've finally met Avana, Kaden." Dylan said from his portrait.

"Yes sir, she was beautiful." He replied.

"Wait, you mean to tell me that you own not only the rarest creature in history but now you own a Thunderbird?" I asked in disbelief.

"Looks like it. But I still love Sky and Phantom, I'll have to train the Thunderbird. Dylan, Avana said she can camouflage, will that be a problem when she hatches?" Kaden asked.

"Shouldn't be a problem, although I think it's time you show him the room Albus." Dylan said which confused both Kaden and I.

"The room?" I asked.

"Yes, you see when I was a student here, I had a specific room where I could train and perform my magic out of the classroom and away from other students so they would not question the magic I was able to use." Dylan explained.

"I will take you two to the room now, can you and Claire meet us there Dylan?" He asked the portrait.

"Of course, Albus. We will see you there." Dylan said and exited the portrait.

"Follow me you two." Dumbledore said and led us to the room Dylan once used.

Before we entered the room on the sixth floor, Dumbledore handed Kaden and I keys so we could enter the room. When we took ahold of the key, I could see the door to the room and he had Kaden enter the room first.

When we entered, we saw that the room had a fireplace with bookshelves lining the room and the portraits of Claire and Dylan were next to one another above the fireplace.

"Now Kaden, please place the egg in the middle of the room. It will take time to hatch, we will let you know when it's ready so you can be here for it." Dylan said.
