Aurora POV:

Waking up the morning after returning to Hogwarts startled me a bit since I didn't wake up in my bed. I opened my eyes to see I was not only in the common room but I was laying on Kaden's chest with Phantom by his head.

My face heated up as I saw the position we were in and that Kaden was holding me close to him as he slept. I have to admit, he does look cute while he's sleeping. The way of his steady breaths and his rhythmic heart beat, I couldn't help but stare at the boy I had grown to fancy.

"Have your parents ever told you about staring Sharpie?" He asked with his eyes still closed.

"Who said I was staring at you?" I quipped back.

"Your eyes that weren't blinking, and your face is telling a different story." He said as he still hadn't opened his eyes.

When Kaden finally did open his eyes, I was met with the mixture of blue and a hint of green near his irises as his eyes reminded me of the ocean.

"You know, you can take a picture or paint a portrait if you want to stare at me all day." He teased.

"In your dreams, Barnes." I quipped back.

"Not in mine, but in yours probably. I'm pretty sure you were dreaming about me again, because you have drool running down your chin." She shot back.

In return I slapped his chest. "Shut up." With that, I got up and went to my dorm to wash up and get changed for the start of classes today.

Before I left my dorm, I grabbed the journal I found in my cauldron in Diagon Alley and started writing in it as I made my way back to the common room.

Naomi and Kaden made their way into the common rooms and the three of us left for the Great Hall for breakfast. Upon entering, we sat down and started filling our plates. Harry, Ron and Hermione joined us as we were informed about what had happened the previous night with Harry and Ron.

"So you mean to tell me, you crashed your father's car into the whomping willow and the car kicked you two out once you got away from the tree?" Kaden asked as they recollected the story.

"Harry, what animal do you own?" Naomi asked.

"An owl why?" Harry asked oblivious as to what we were insinuating.

"Did it ever cross your mind to I don't know, write a letter to inform Dumbledore about not getting trough the barrier?" I asked

"Oh." Harry and Ron said.

"Kaden you were right, we are friends with idiots." Hermione said.

Before the conversation could continue, an owl screeched and flew towards us before it could crash into the table, Kaden caught the owl in his hand gently and set him down.

"Just saved us from a disaster, Kaden thanks." Ron said.

"No worries." He responded.

Ron looked to the foot of the owl and saw a red letter was attached and instantly paled as his ears went red.

"Got yourself a howler there, Weasley." I said with a smirk.

Ron took the letter from his families owl. He slowly opened the letter and something wonderful happened.
