Aurora POV:

After the battle of Hogwarts, we all returned to the school to help with the repairs. Kaden was helping out the most because of his duel with Medusa destroyed a fair bit of not just the great hall but the entire castle. As we were helping with the repairs, Ron came up to us.

"Hey, we need to get going to shell cottage soon for Percy's funeral." He said sadly as Hermione took his hand and rubbed her thumb over to top of it to comfort him.

We all nodded and went to change in the bathrooms. Us girls were changing and making small talk. When we were finished changing, us girls were all in black dresses while the three men were in black suits. When we were all ready we apparated to shell cottage.

Upon our arrival we saw all of the Weasley's as well as order members. I was standing with Kaden while our parents were on either side of us. We knew Percy wasn't the nicest person towards us after Kaden was chosen over him to search for Sirius, be he tried to redeem himself for his actions when he joined the fight to save Hogwarts. All of the Weasley's were still mourning his death, not even the twins could bring themselves to crack a joke. Hermione, Naomi, and I each placed a bouquet of flowers down on the grave as mum and dad did their best to console a still distraught Mrs. Weasley.

"He's in a better place now..." Mrs. Weasley said with a sniffle as she was trying to hold back the tears.

"Mrs. Weasley, do you mind if I do something? I did the same for aunt Lily, uncle James, and aunt Marlene." Kaden asked.

"Of course Kaden." She said doing her best to muster a smile.

Kaden returned the smile and bent down and conjured a cauldron with stones. Kaden lit his hand on fire and placed the flame into the cauldron then changed the flame to the Gryffindor colors of red and gold.

"Thank you Kaden. I'll make sure someone tends to the fire." Mrs. Weasley said with a sad smile.

"That won't be necessary Mrs. Weasley, the fire will never go out, it's a charm Claire and Dylan taught Kaden." I said taking Kaden's hand in mine and rested my head on his arm.

Ron and Harry were starting at the new ministry soon in the auror department, while the rest of us were returning to Hogwarts. McGonagall had sent an owl and said it would be a repeat year so we would repeating our seventh year. Kaden and I were going to be head boy and head girl while Hermione and Naomi would remain prefects. Kaden and I were happy we were being made head boy and girl. The D.A was reformed as a club that would be run by Kaden, Hermione, Naomi, Ginny, Bella, Neville, and myself. McGonagall was making staffing changes and asked if Harry would offer guest lectures from time to time which he happily agreed to. Since McGonagall cancelled the current term due to the reconstruction of the school, we spent our free time helping clear the debris before Kaden and I were summoned up to McGonagall's office.

"Ah, come in you two have a seat." McGonagall said with a smile.

Kaden and I went over to the desk and took a seat as McGonagall sat opposite us who still had a smile on her face.

"Kaden, I want to thank you again for bringing down Medusa and helping bring down Voldemort. I know everyone is resting a little easier knowing that they are gone now."

I smiled at him as I gave his hand a tight squeeze.

"Albus and I talked and he told me about what you went through, and I cannot stress how grateful we are to you and Mr. Potter." McGonagall continued.

McGonagall then stood up.

"It has truly been a pleasure being your teacher all these years, I know that when you both leave here you both will do tremendous things in whichever career you choose. I understand you two are coming back for your final year but I would like it if you both came back once you have graduated to give a guest lecture. I am sure that the future students at the school will appreciate it, especially your sister, Kaden."
