Aurora POV:

The morning after Dumbledore left I woke up being held tightly by Kaden. I looked over my shoulder to see him still sleeping, in his sleep he pulled me closer to him making me smile. I gently turned over and lightly kissed him to wake him up.

"Good morning, handsome." I said once he opened his eyes.

"Good morning, gorgeous. How did you sleep?" He asked.

"Very well since you were holding me." I said pecking his lips.

We got out of bed and I went to the washroom to clean myself and change into my robes, when I exited the bathroom, Kaden was sitting on the now made bed with Phantom sitting in his lap looking at him. Kaden then went into the bathroom so he could wash up and change while I fed Phantom and let Sky and Storm out the window so they could go hunt. I told both of them to meet us in the great hall when they were done.

Kaden exited the bathroom now in his robes and we made our way to the common room to wait for Naomi so we could go down to the great hall together. She arrived a few minutes later and we left Ravenclaw tower, along the way we met up with the golden trio and the six of us walked to the great hall together.

When we entered we heard many students talking about Dumbledore's empty seat and the theories as to why it was empty. Kaden and I shared a knowing look before we went to take a seat at the Ravenclaw table. We looked to the staff table and saw dad and Grant on either side of Dumbledore's chair each with a wide smile. McGonagall tapped her glass a couple times and address the hall.

"I must ask you for your attention." She said with a smile. "Our new headmasters would like to say a few words."

Dad and Grant came our from behind the table and stood in front of the hall and surveyed the room. As they were surveying the room, owls with the Daily Prophet flew in and dropped the latest issue. Before we read the the paper, we looked to see Umbridge furious when she read the headline which read:

NEW HEADMASTERS FOR HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY!

GRANT BARNES AND APOLLO SHARP WILL REPLACE ALBUS DUMBLEDORE AS HEAD OF HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY.

Ron and Hermione looked shocked that dad and Grant were chosen to succeed Dumbledore but Kaden and I knew why they were here.

"I can't believe it." Hermione finally managed to say.

"That explains why Dumbledore brought them here in the first place." I said smiling at dad who smiled back at us.

"Clever old bastard." Kaden said with a chuckle.

"What do you mean?" Ron asked confused.

"He must have known Fudge would be after him once Harry told him Tom and Mary were back so he brought our dads in because he knew the ministry would send someone in to spy on him." Kaden explained.

"Dumbledore must have been thinking ahead." Naomi said.

"Good morning everyone!" Dad said bring our attention back to the new headmasters. "It is with great pleasure that we get to announce our term as your new headmasters. We understand there are many of you who will miss professor Dumbledore and that's ok, Grant and I will try our best to live up to the standards he has already set."

"Our first act as your new headmasters..." Grant said who looked to dad who nodded. "Is to dismiss the inquisitorial squad of any and all power they thought they had in the school." Grant said while sending a glare at Umbridge.

"Furthermore." Dad said. "Professor Barnes and I have conferred with all of the other professors and we have decided that all educational decrees that have been enacted this year will no longer be necessary. Prince Barnes, if you may." Dad said gesturing to Kaden.
