Aurora POV:

The Christmas holidays had gone  by and it was now time to go back to Hogwarts. I couldn't contain my smile the entire time I was packing to go back to school. I get to see my friends again and get back into the swing of classes. Most importantly I get to see Kaden again, I couldn't stop thinking about him throughout the holidays. Every time I would see his quidditch jersey, I would smile widely. As we made our way to the barrier, mum and dad decided to tease me.

"What's got you smiling like that little one?" Mum asked me. "Could it be your boyfriend that you haven't stopped talking about sine coming home?" Mum teased further.

I blushed as I responded. "N-no I don't know what your talking about m-mum." I stuttered as I cursed myself for stuttering.

"That stutter and blush say differently little star." Dad replied with a smile. "You know I would like to meet the boy that has stolen our little girls heart."

"DAD!" I exclaimed now embarrassed.

"Were only teasing little one. Nothing to worry about, but I agree with your father. We would like to meet him some time." Mom said with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you will." I replied now having the same smile.

As we reached the barrier we started to run at the wall. Once we made it through we saw the scarlet engine and my smile only grew.

Once we got closer to the train, mum and dad stopped to talk to me before I got on.

"Be good little one, and remember to write to us every so often to let us know how things are going. Your father and I are so proud of you." Mom said.

"You have made us the happiest people in the world. We are so lucky to have you as a daughter, little star." Dad said he they both hugged me.

"I love you mum and dad. I'll be sure to write to you. I've got to get on the train now, I'll see you both at the end of term." I said as I released the hug.

After talking with my parents, I made my way onto the train and didn't see Kaden, Naomi or Hermione. 'They must not be here yet.' I thought as I found an empty compartment. Not too long after, the three I was waiting to see entered the compartment as I greeted them."

"Hello, did you three have a good holiday?" I asked as Kaden loaded their things into the overhead space.

"Pretty good, we had Christmas lunch with the Barnes'." Hermione replied to my question as Naomi nodded in agreement.

"It was good but someone missed you and has been asking about you since I had gotten home." Kaden said as he let Phantom out of her cage and she immediately jumped into my lap and rubbed her face against mine.

"Hello Phantom, yes I missed you too. Did you keep Kaden out of trouble?" I asked as she purred.

"Oi! I don't get into that much trouble." He defended

I gave him a look as he instantly grumbled. "So unfair, It's always three against one."

We continued talking about how we spent our holidays as we were making our way back to Hogwarts. Along the way I had fallen asleep with Phantom in my lap and my head had landed on Kaden's shoulder.

"Rora, were back. It's time to get up." Kaden said softly as I slowly opened my eyes. He smiled at me as I smiled at him.

"Morning sleepyhead." He teased.

"It's evening smarty pants. How did you get sorted into Ravenclaw?" I playfully mocked.

"So rude. You know I could have left you on here and went with Hermione and Naomi." He stated back.
