Kaden POV:

The morning after Christmas, I woke up to a mess of brunette hair sprawled out all over the bed. I looked down to see Aurora sleeping peacefully with her arm wrapped around my torso and her head on my chest. I checked the time and saw it was 8:30, we needed to get up so we could meet Neville and his family at St. Mungo's.

You see, today I would be reversing the effects of the Cruciatus curse on Neville's parents. This was going to take a lot of energy and possibly a long time, so it was a good thing we weren't expected at the Burrow until later in the day.

"Aurora darling." I said gently trying to get my sleeping fiancé up. "You have to get up now. We need to get ready to go to St. Mungo's."

Aurora groaned and nuzzled her head in closer while tightening her grip on me. "Five more minutes, handsome."

"No can do, love. We gotta get up." I said making her groan again.

"Please." She asked while opening one of her eyes.

"Aurora..."

"Ugh... Fine." Aurora pouted and removed her arm from me and got up and went to the bathroom.

I sighed to myself at Aurora already being in a mood because she had to wake up so early. I sat on the end of the bed after I let Sky and Storm out of the balcony door to go hunt. Phantom jumped onto the bed and rubbed her head against me and laid down in my lap. I patiently waited for Aurora to finish in the bathroom and twenty minutes later, she exited the bathroom ready to go.

I got up from the bed and went over to kiss her but she pulled away confusing me. She must have noticed my confusion and patted my chest.

"Brush your teeth first, then you can kiss me." She said moving over to the bed.

I rolled my eyes when she was out of view and entered the bathroom to shower and change. Ten minutes later I was ready to go. I exited the bathroom and saw Aurora wasn't in our room. I went downstairs and saw her in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal.

I went over to her and wrapped my arms around her from behind and kissed her cheek. "Are you mad that I woke you up this morning?"

"Why would I be mad about that?" She asked turning to face me while giving me a smile.

"I don't like the way you're smiling at me." I told her moving to get something to eat quickly. "It's making me nervous."

"Are you saying I make you nervous?" She asked seductively.

I turned back toward her and arched an eyebrow at her for the sudden mood change.

"What is going on with you this morning?" I asked.

"Nothing is going on with me, honey." She said taking a spoonful of her cereal.

"If that's true, then get your arse over here and give your fiancé a kiss, since you declined mine earlier." I said turning back to her with my bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit.
