The Boy Who Protected

The Fight Begins

Third Person POV:

"They never learn." Voldemort said.

"Pity... Begin." Medusa finished.

Voldemort and Medusa smiled as they watched a large barrier being placed over Hogwarts. I was clear that no one had any intention of giving up Harry Potter and Kaden Barnes. So, they had no choice but to force their way in and kill them. Medusa's smile quickly faded when she saw the guardians of ancient magic join Kaden Barnes and the students of Hogwarts.

"How is this possible!?" He shouted.

"Sister?" Voldemort asked confused.

"He somehow called upon the guardians of ancient magic to help him. They will obey every order he gives them." Medusa raged.

Bellatrix raised her arm in the air to signal the readying death eaters for battle, but Pius Thicknesse, the minister for magic spoke up.

"But... My... Lords... Shouldn't we wait?"

Voldemort and Medusa turned and looked at Thicknesse menacingly, who was still under the Imperius curse. Bellatrix smirked from next to Voldemort as the barrier faded.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Medusa shot the killing curse at Thicknesse, killing him instantly.

"Anyone else want to question our leadership?" She asked looking at all of the death eaters. "No? Good."

Bellatrix smiled wickedly and lowered her arm.

Behind the invisible barrier the Weasley twins were standing on a balcony looking at the barrage of spells hit the barrier.

"Doing ok Freddie?"

"Yeah."

"Me too."

Kaden and Aurora were running through the corridors doing their best to get to Harry and Naomi. Meanwhile, Ron and Hermione have just entered the girls bathroom where the Chamber of Secrets were located. Back on the grounds, the members of the D.A were getting ready to destroy the bridge with explosives that Neville managed to obtain as Seamus told everyone what to do.

"That's it." Seamus said as he set down the supplies and started to build the explosives. "I want a charge on each and every joint."

As Seamus began to make the explosives other members of the D.A placed them on every joint of the bridge. Just as they were finishing Ginny and Bella started waving their hands at them but stopped when they looked into the distance. An army of snatchers were descending upon them. Neville, who was right by the end of the bridge turned and watched the snatchers run towards the bridge.

"Not good." Neville said with a hint of worry in his voice until he saw Sky fly over head and land right next to him. "I like our chances now, what about you Sky?"

Sky let out smoke from her nose and looked to grow a smirk on her face. One that closely resembled her father's smirk.

On the other side of the castle, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Remus Lupin, and Sirius Black were standing their ground with another member of the D.A. Dean Thomas. As Kingsley, Sirius, and Remus looked at the sky, he turned to Dean and the other members that were with him.

"Tell Professors McGonagall, Sprout, and Flitwick." Kingsley said to the members. "That Remus, Sirius, and I will handle this side of the castle."

"Yes sir." Dean said before Sirius  spotted more death eaters apparating near Hogwarts.

"Dean!" Sirius shouted making the man stop and turn back. "Maybe we could use a few more wands on this side." Dean nodded and went to go get more wands to help the three men.
