Third person POV:
After Harry and Kaden made their way through the black fire towards the stone, they entered the final room and what they were met with, neither of them expected.
It was professor Quirrell standing in front of the Mirror of Erised.
"I take it that's the mirror you went to every night over the Christmas holiday?" Kaden whispered to Harry as they quietly approached the mirror and Quirrell. Harry nodded in response, confirming this was the mirror that showed him his parents.
"Lovely." Kaden said as they kept moving, doing their best not to alert the man in front of the mirror.
As they were at the top of the stairs in front of the mirror Harry decided to speak. "You!" He said to the man wearing his turban.
Quirrell slowly turned to face the two boys with a sickly evil smile. Both boys were starting to feel a bit of fear upon seeing the man look so evil.
"No I-it can't be. Snape he was the one who..." Harry started before he was cut off.
"Yes, he does seem the type doesn't he? Next to him who would suspect p-p-p-poor st-stuttering professor Quirrell?" He asked as he suddenly lost his stutter.
"But-but that day during my first Quidditch match. Snape tried to kill me, and the next day he sent the bludger into Kaden's head." Harry said to the man.
"No dear boy." Quirrell's maniacal smile grew. "I tried to kill you! And trust me, if Snape's cloak had not caught fire because of those sisters and broken my eye contact, I would have succeeded, even with Snape muttering his little counter curse. I had nothing to do with the bludger that took out Barnes. That was just a lucky coincidence."
"Snape was trying to save me?" Harry said in disbelief that the man who had antagonizing him all year had tried to save his life.
"Of course." Quirrell stated. "It was a waste of time though with Dumbledore watching, even after I set that troll loose in the dungeons."
"That troll almost killed me and my friends." Kaden stated angrily as his eyes changed ever so slightly to icy blue.
Quirrell having had enough of the boys, snapped his fingers and ropes tied both of them up.
"Both of you are going to show me how to get the stone. Once I have it, both of you will die."
Quirrell turned back to the mirror and started monologuing. "I have a gift with trolls. You saw the troll in the bathroom on Halloween, well before Barnes turned it to ash. Snape had already suspected me and went to the third floor to head me off. Not only did the troll fail to kill you both, but it failed to kill your stupid friends too and then got itself reduced to nothing by a silly 11 year old child. That three headed dog also failed to bite Snape's leg off properly."
Harry and Kaden were staring at the man as he rambled on. Kaden decided to break his silence by egging the twisted professor on.
"Hey Harry, can we go now? It's getting hard to breathe in here with this man's ego and monologuing." The boy jested.
Before he or Harry could react, Quirrell spun around and uttered a curse.
"Crucio!"
Kaden dropped to the floor as he yelled out in pain. The pain he was feeling was like being poked with thousands of small needles all throughout his body. He continued to writhe in pain as all Harry could do was watch in horror. For Kaden it felt like he was being tortured for hours but in reality it was only for a few minutes. When Quirrell decided to stop the torture, he turned back to the mirror.
