The Hunt Begins

Kaden POV:

The afternoon had come around and we were all getting dressed for the wedding. I was currently in the room Aurora and I were sharing looking in the mirror at the suit I was wearing and smirked. I pulled out the diamond Aurora was looking at from my pocket and held it in my hand and looked at it.

"Some day my love. In this life or the next." I said to myself.

I looked back into the mirror and made sure my suit was perfect.

"Damn, I look good." I said to myself again.

"You could say that again, handsome." Aurora said from the door.

I turned to look at her and my jaw dropped to the floor. She was wearing a knee length burgundy dress with her hair flowing perfectly. I was in awe of the woman that was standing before me.

"You look breath taking, love." I said moving to her and giving her a kiss.

"You look rather dashing yourself." She replied kissing me this time.

"How did I get so lucky?" I asked with my hands on her waist.

"You aren't the only one asking that." She said smiling at me.

"You two ready?" Harry asked as he walked by our door with Naomi.

"Yeah, we are." I said before I felt Sky and Storm jump onto my shoulder's before they went into my jacket pocket.

I offered my arm to Aurora which she took and the four of us headed down to the tent for the wedding.

When we entered the tent, we saw how much work Mrs. Weasley put into the event, honestly it was stunning and in the middle of all the well-wishers and reception goers were Bill and Fleur dancing together. Harry and Ron sat a a table with Harry playing with the snitch Dumbledore had left him. Aurora and I saw that Hagrid brought Madame Maxine of Beauxbatons as his plus one. Tonks and Remus were talking to Mrs. Weasley in hushed whispers before Tonks spotted Aurora and I.

"Aurora, Kaden can you two come over here for a moment?" She asked quietly.

Aurora and I walked over to her and Remus who smiled at the both of us.

"Remus, Tonks what's wrong?" I asked concerned.

"Nothing is wrong Kaden, Tonks and I wanted to ask you both something." Remus said as Tonks placed her hand gently on her belly.

Aurora covered her mouth with her free hand as I smiled brightly at the two.

"Congratulations, both of you." I said giving them both a hug.

"So, what did you both want to ask us?" Aurora asked.

"Remus and I were wondering if you and Kaden would like to be the Godparents to our child." Tonks said with a smile.

Aurora and I looked at one another before we grew big smiled and turned back to Tonks and Remus.

"It would be our honor to the child's Godparents." Aurora answered for both of us.

"Brilliant! Thank you, you two." Remus said.

"Now would be a good time to say that there's a nursery in the you know..." I said with a wink.

"That will be perfect, thank you Kaden." Remus said.

"Please, it's the least I could do, Moony." I said waving it off.

"Well, we will let you two get on with the rest of your night." Tonks said before the four of us went our own ways.

Aurora and I were walking around while occasionally glancing at order members and giving slight nods to one another. A slow song came on and I grew a smirk before I stopped and turned Aurora to look me in the eyes.
