Kaden POV:
The weeks following Harry and I being in the tournament have been any and everything but easy. Apparently Ron was now being a giant git to Harry because he thinks Harry and I entered ourselves into this tournament. Most students were glaring and whispering behind Harry and I's backs about how we got into the tournament. The five of us sat at the Gryffindor table eating breakfast most students would sneer at Harry and I.
"They all need to grow up." Naomi commented.
"I agree, Mi-Mi." Aurora said taking a piece of my bacon.
"I think you and Harry need to write to Sirius and your parents Kaden, about the tournament. They would want to know." Hermione said.
"They already know, and needless to say they are not happy that both Harry and I somehow got put into this damn tournament." I said sighing.
"Hello Kaden." Bella said as she approached us at the table.
I turned my head to see Aurora gripping her fork tightly like she was about to snap it.
'Calm down, darling. She has no effect on me.' I told her as she loosened her grip on the fork.
"Hi Bella. What can I do for you?" I said in an annoyed tone.
"Well I was wondering if you could show me around the school." She said batting her eyelashes at me.
"What are you doing with your eyes? It's really weird." I said.
She looked shocked that her veela trick didn't work on me. Her friend, Elizabeth tried it on Harry next.
"Errr... Can you stop doing that?" Harry asked.
They both had their mouths hung open before they stomped off.
"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies!" Aurora shouted at their retreating figures.
The five of us laughed at the attempts of the veela to get Harry and I to swoon over them. The five of us left after breakfast to the library to research as much as we could on the past tournaments and what they could entail. We stayed in the library all morning trying to find anything. It was time for lunch so we left the library and made our way to the great hall. We sat down at the Gryffindor table apparently we were sitting too close to Ron.
"What do you two want?" He spat at us.
"We're having lunch Ron, is that a crime?" Harry said.
"There are plenty of places for you to sit, Potter, Barnes." He snarled. "Why don't you go sit somewhere else and practice your speeches for the interview. You should know all about those, Barnes."
"Weasley, do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up you jealous arsehole." I said before I got up and went to go sit somewhere by myself.
I was sitting and eating my lunch in peace when someone came up and sat next to me.
"Are you alright, handsome?" Aurora said slipping her hand into mine.
"I am now, darling." I said before I gave her a kiss.
"I'm worried about you, Kaden." She said.
"I know." I said with a sigh. "I just wish I could have had a quiet year and escape the spot light after the world cup."
"I know you did but you don't have to go through this alone. I'm here with you, and I always will be." She said kissing my cheek.
"What would I do without you?" I asked.
"You'd probably be dead my now." She replied.
"That's fair." I said kissing her head.
After lunch, the five of us were walking to the dungeons for potions. We passed many students who were wearing some kind of badge.
