Kaden POV:

The next morning I woke up early thankfully without having a nightmare for the first time since summer holiday started. I carefully got out of bed not to wake up Aurora who was still sound asleep. I threw on a shirt and some pajama pants over my shorts before I left the room quietly with Sky following me out of the room. We went down to the kitchen and I started to make breakfast since I didn't know if anyone would be up soon. I just finished making the tea when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned to my left and saw it was Sirius coming into the kitchen.

"Morning Kaden." He said before taking the cup of tea I offered him. "Thank you."

"Your welcome Sirius. You want some breakfast?" I ask him.

"I'll never say no to a Barnes cooked meal." He said with a laugh.

"Good to know. Hey, I'm taking Sky and Storm to a nearby forest later so They can hunt. Do you want to join us as Padfoot and change when we get to the forest?" I asked him.

"That would be much appreciated, Kaden. I need to get out of this place sometimes." He said.

"Trust me, I know. Plus you'll be able to see Sky and Storm at their full size." I said as I finished making our plates.

"How big are they?" He asked curiously.

"Sky and I see eye to eye and she can fit three adults on her comfortably and Storm is thirty five feet tall and seventy feet wing to wing." I said.

Sirius had a giant smile at hearing this.

"I can't wait to see them in their natural elements." He said taking a bite of his food.

We continued to talk until we finished our breakfast and tea. I washed the plates and cups before going upstairs to change. When I entered the room, I saw Aurora still sleeping I went over to her and kissed her head before going to shower and change into the clothes I'll be wearing for the day.

When I exited the bathroom, Aurora was now awake and petting Sky who was laying up by her. I quietly made my way over to her and kissed her all over her face making her giggle.

"Morning, darling." I said kissing her lips.

"Morning, handsome." She said kissing me back.

"How did you sleep?" I asked taking a seat beside her.

"A lot better with you next to me." She replied smiling. "What about you?"

"No nightmare for the first time since we last slept in the same bed." I replied smiling.

She didn't say anything and gave me a tight hug.

"I made breakfast for everyone. Sirius and I already ate and were going to a forest later with Sky and Storm so they can hunt and get out as Padfoot." I told her.

"Look at you, babe. Thinking of everybody." She said kissing my face.

"Go wash up so we can go down and you can eat." I told her.

She got out of bed and started to make her way to the bathroom. I took the opportunity to slap her bum making her squeal and jump slightly before looking over her shoulder and winking at me.

When she came out of the bathroom she was dressed in the quidditch uniform I gave her for the World Cup making me smile remembering seeing her wear it for the first time.

"What's got you smiling like that?" She asked with an arched brow.

I looked at her and smiled brighter before responding.

"You, princess." I told her pulling her in for a passionate kiss.

We broke the kiss when her stomach grumbled making us both laugh.
