Velile
Amile was a close call. I have asked Boy Boy to send her away because we almost got caught.
I don't know if Amile knows or not about a Yibanathi who has gone missing and even if she doesn't I just can't risk it.
The search for Yibanathi has started and it is going strong. Cebo and I went out today and on our way back I got a text from Malibongwe asking to see me. Who on earth does he think he is?
Malibongwe is testing my patience here like how can he demand to see me like I am his wife or something.
"Mom what on earth is really going on here?"
Boy Boy asks while folding his arms and staring at me. He reminds me of his father when he acts like this.
"Boy Boy what are you on about?"
I ask him.
"Mom what is going on why did you say I must send Amile away?"
"Because she is a distraction and a nuisance she thinks my house is a fish market where you can scream like a mad woman."
I say to him in a calm tone while texting Malibongwe that we will meet up the hill near the village square.
"Since when do you see Amile like that?"
Boy Boy asks me.
"Boy Boy please I don't have time to answer you just go to her and leave me in peace!"
I shout at him. He is just busy adding to my stress as it is right now. He just snatches my car keys from the table and storms towards the door and bangs the door. It is clear he is going after her. He wants that girlfriend of his which does not understand the term of take a seat. Amile gets too comfortable honestly and you will find her up and down like it is her mother's house. Don't get me wrong I don't mind her being Boy Boy's girlfriend.
I have Yibanathi here in my home and to be honest I like the idea of having her here because she is of great help with keeping this house clean. She does everything and the great thing is that she is not getting paid. Imagine having to pay someone to help with this house I could never and besides my husband will not allow it he told me that I must be able to clean my house if I want a big house.
My house is large for houses here in Umbumbulu but it is nothing compared to Thembekile's house.
The plan I have for Yibanathi is that when the dust settles I take her to the clinic for a check up and I will organise for a closed adoption process so that when she gives birth they will take the baby to relieve her of the stress and she continues the duty of cleaning and cooking which is the only thing she is good at.
I am happy that she and Cebo are no longer fighting. I want them to be comfortable and peaceful around each other because they are going to be here for a long time. I need to go to the hill and Cebo left with my car. I guess I need to walk because Cebo here is waiting for his father to buy him a car from my brother in-law.
I guess I need to start walking if I want to come back early. As to what he wants from me today I don't know and to make it worse there are 2 days left just 2 full days before my husband comes back so I can't be going in and out of the house or having "meetings" with Malibongwe while my husband is here. I respect the man so I can't be going out without having a reasonable explanation to what I got upto when I went out so I will just keep myself indoors and not out.
I then get out of the house and lock the house.

After a short************
I hate this thing of living here in Umbumbulu because of the dust on the roads since there is no tar on the roads here and I am here walking when I have a car. The only thing close to tar is the cemented road which is on the main road and that too came after a while of us driving through gravel. The disadvantage of being in a rural area.
The kids we give birth to think they are above us.
I didn't think of stopping Cebo from taking my car and now I am walking and I am tired already and thirsty. My feet are starting to get sore. At least I am up the hill now and I am walking towards Malibongwe's car and I walk towards it much faster because I want to sit down.
I get to the car after 7 minutes. I open the front passanger door and get inside I then close it.
"Malibongwe hello."
I greet him and he smiles at me.
"Hello Veli, how are you doing?"
He says to me while still smiling like a clown.
"I am fine as you can see now tell me what am I doing here?"
I question him because I don't know what he wants from me because he told me we were on a break because there was an important mission the chief wanted assistance in.
"I miss you Veli."
He tells me while still smiling.
"Malibongwe, my husband is coming back okay so no I can't risk it."
I told him. Mandlakhe will be very suspicious if this continues.
"Don't tell me about that one where is he to satisfy your needs?"
He asks me.
"He is my husband Malibongwe and you are married so please!"
It started small with Malibongwe until we came to an agreement that we will have a no strings attached relationship.
"Velile I love you!"
He shouts.
"Haa you can't Malibongwe Nkosi."
I say to him while shocked at his confession.
"Why can't you see it Velile man!"
He continues to shout.
"Mali your reputation is at stake here. This can't happen."
I say to him.
"I don't care about being the chief advisor Velile, right now I am coming clean to you."
Yoh why is this man trying to complicate my life?
