Mandlakhe had arrived in Umbumbulu but he decided not to go to his house yet but rather go to the village chief and announce his arrival as well as find out what has been going on in Umbumbulu. He is considered as an important man here in the area, a man of honor.
The chief welcomed him well and they had a small chat while sharing a drink.
"Ndamase, you have missed out on a lot here but let us wait for Malibongwe he will be here in a few minutes."
The chief announces while signaling the bodyguard to come close and whispered something to the man's ear. Malibongwe was busy looking around the house after all it has been a while since he entered the royal household so he was trying to take it all in when he heard a voice...
"Oh great one!"
A man shouts and he comes inside and walks slowly with his hands pressed together. The man looks up and our eyes meet it is no other than Malibongwe Nkosi.
"Nkosi."
The chief and I say together off which we laugh but Malibongwe does not seem comfortable after landing his eyes on me. I guess he did not expect to find me here. He takes a seat opposite Mandlakhe and as they are all talking Malibongwe keeps giving Mandlakhe weird looks that the chief is not paying attention to but Mandlakhe has been noticing this. The conversation between the men seems to be flowing non the less but the topic of Yibanathi is to be discussed the next day. The chief tells Mandlakhe that his bodyguard will drop him off at his home after they are done talking but Malibongwe leaves early which leaves the other two men confused but they continue chatting up a storm.
Meanwhile in KwaMashu Amile and her friend were getting ready to go out to do some shopping in Westville, The Pavilion to be exact. Amile was happy to go out after all it was her friend who would be paying. The supposed friend of which her name is Melinda was spending money that her partner gave her besides it was even better for Melinda because she was working unlike Amile who depended on a man for financial support and she had now told Cebo only R10 000 is enough for her because she did not want to give off gold digger vibes especially with a Yibanathi in the picture she had up her game if she wanted to keep Cebo close but the problem is that she loved him but his money was not enough so he had to get a helper a second boyfriend of course who would be the cash injection she needs to maintain her lifestyle.
Yibanathi on the other hand has been moved from her from the bedroom she was using to the furthest bedroom in the passage which is practically the last bedroom right there. Velile moved her there and gave her a strict instruction to not leave the room unless told to do so. This practically another form of jail for Yibanathi. Velile is trying to hide Yibanathi in the house incase these village people come do a search for her. Cebo has been busy these days going out to collect any information and reporting to his mom on what he has heard. Yibanathi and Cebo are playing hide and seek according to what Cebo thinks and for that he will definitely go and talk to her because how dare she hid from him without giving him an answer. He is coming from the mall carrying a packet which contains junk that he will give to Yibanathi to snack on an he just finish parking the car inside the garage, he is now heading to the house .
"Hey mom."
Cebo greets as he is entering the house.
"Hello Boy."
Velile is so engrossed in the tv, one would think she is one of the characters she is one of the characters on the series that she is watching. Velile is sitting on the couch with a sandwich in her hand and her eyes are so focused on the television that Cebo thought that his mother was not paying attention to him and he knew better than to disturb her when she is watching her series. He gave her one look and decided to go up the stairs when he heard his mother talking.
"Where do you think you are going young man?"
Cebo looked back and saw his mom staring at his hand and he remembered the packet he was carrying.
"Oh...uhmm...mom I bought this for Yibanathi"
He says while walking to go sit next to his mom.
"You bought for Yibanathi ?"
She questions while looking back at the television.
"Yeah..."
Cebo answers while listing the contents of which the packet contains and his mother's facial expression changes.
"Cebo so you went and bought junk for that girl, what about me?"
She says while looking at Cebo.
"Either way leave the packet here I will personally give it to her because she is sleeping right now."
Cebo drops the packet on the floor and decides to go upstairs to his room but decides to pass by Yibanathi's room. He knocks once and enters but finds the bed made and it shows that no one slept here. He proceeds to check the wardrobe and it is empty. She wouldn't leave without him knowing now would she? Does his mother know that she is missing, but then if she knew she wouldn't be this calm knowing Velile she would be up and down looking for her before the community finds her.
Cebo realizes that his mother did mention that she does not want Mandlakhe which is his father to find Yibanathi here because he will not understand anything even if we bother explaining to him.
Yibanathi was moved to the other bedroom by Velile but Cebo had no knowledge of this and he went to look for her in the other two rooms and did not bother checking the last bedroom because she could never possibly be there. He then went downstairs to ask his mom about this and she dismissed him without giving him a direct answer which made him go to his own bedroom and think about what to do next.
