In the morning, Vegas woke up before Macau and started working despite having a wild hangover. The throbbing headache didn't bother him much as it reminded him of the previous night when he had a passionate make-out session with an adorable Omega bodyguard. He couldn't remember when he had last experienced such intense affection with someone. Vegas smirked at that. He couldn't wait to see Porsche in a few days when they went to one of their meetings in The Main Family's mansion.
As he heard his brother get ready and say goodbye to him, Vegas sat in the kitchen, still ignoring Tawan's texts. He should respond to the other. Make up some excuse why he had to miss their "date night". Vegas knew he had to keep up with the ruse for a bit more and then he could shove it into Kinn's face. He just needed a little longer to make Tawan actually want to hurt Kinn. Before he could see him he needed to wash the scent of another Omega from him. It wasn't a distinct scent but Vegas knew Tawan would know.
While he got ready he heard from his bodyguard that Macau had deactivated all his trackers and had successfully dodged his bodyguards. Vegas assumed something like this would happen. He knew his brother well. Luckily, Vegas thought ahead and put one of the trackers inside Macau's shoes. He checked the app on his phone and saw that his brother was currently in the aquarium. Suddenly, that made Vegas very mad. It was his special place to go with Macau. 'Who was he with?'
He quickly went out of the house and onto his bike. As he drove in the direction of an aquarium Vegas was seething with anger. It wasn't that Macau lied. It was that he was meeting someone he wasn't supposed to. And the younger Alpha knew that.
When the Alpha arrived in front of the aquarium he saw that the queue wasn't as big as he thought it would be. He managed to get a fast past and enter the huge building. One thing he knew about his brother was that he could always find him at the shark exhibit. Macau had an hour and a half of advantage to him so he hoped that the younger hadn't seen the sharks yet. As he waited for his brother he saw a lot of children playing next to the tanks.
He didn't see Macau at first but heard him. And just like he suspected he was accompanied by The Main Family's bodyguard. Vegas knew him as one of Tankhun's bodyguards, Peter or something similar.
'What was he doing with his brother again?' It wasn't the first time Vegas saw the two together. In the last two years, he saw them several times when Macau bailed on his plans with him. First, he saw them exiting the cinema and another time he saw them eating ice cream downtown. Vegas wanted to kill the bodyguard the moment he saw him with his brother but then he saw how widely his brother would smile at the said bodyguard.
Vegas had his suspicions about their relationship but he wanted to be sure before he acted. So every once in a while he would go and stalk them on their outings. Macau always seemed to enjoy Beta's company and Vegas could see how relaxed the younger was with him.
This time was no different. Vegas hid behind the group of people observing sharks as he saw his brother taking selfies of the two. He could see the bodyguard nuzzle Macau's neck and he almost stormed right up to them. He knew he would have taken Macau and shot the bodyguard. Distracted by his thoughts, Vegas didn't notice his brother leaving with the Beta. He soon found them again in the cafeteria. They were actively talking and gushing over their lunches. The older Alpha suspected that the Beta bodyguard made them knowing his brother didn't know how to cook. Macau got up and hugged the Beta affectionately and he sat down beside him. Before Vegas could make his way to them he could scent Macau's anger. He thought the Beta did something to anger his little brother but Macau looked more like a feral and protective Alpha than when the pup got angry. It took some codling from the Beta and Macau calmed down.
