A/n: Welcome to the beginning of volume 7, not much to say but i'm glad i got this far before i end up wash up in a river, but i hope you guys enjoy

*Mantle*

After stealing a ship from argus and dealing with a grimm attack, Team Rwby and company had finally arrived at the kingdom of atlas, Upon arriving in its airspace they noticed the current state of the kingdom's military with the skies being filled with airships ready for an attack.

Radio: "Manta 5-1, Welcome home. Please continue your approach to atlas docking bay omega 12, a security team will meet you there, Over"

Ruby: I don't understand? What's happening here?

Qrow: I don't know...

Coda: I mean we made it right? We got the lamp here so i'll just land this thing and we get some answers

Commando: That's not a good idea... The military doesn't do this... They're riled up and if we show up in a stolen ship then it'll make our chances of getting to the general zero to none.

Weiss: If we get caught... They might take me back to my father...

Commando: We won't... But i dont think we can go directly to the military for help... That means avoiding my father and your sister...

Yang: If we can't trust the people that you guys know on the inside... Then how are we gonna get to ironwood?

Six: Alaska! If we find him we might be able to get into the kingdom.

Coda: News flash, how are we gonna get help getting into the kingdom if the person helping us is in the kingdom?

Maria: I might know a place... Get us down to mantle!

Coda nods as he starts descending the ship, everyone begins looking around at the state of the kingdom, they notice a projection of general ironwood on a screen broadcasting propaganda reassuring the people that the kingdom is safe, but his appearance had changed since last they saw him back during their beacon days, His appearance was unkept and his beard was scurfy, eye bags plastered on his face and his eyes seemed dead and void of life a shell of the man they once knew.

Ruby: General ironwood... He looks

Commando: Tired...

Qrow: James... What have you been doing...

Saeth: Looks like he's been doing alot...

Everyone continues looking out the windows, the state of mantle was rough to say the least, The citizens looked tired and they were annoyed by all the atlas surveillance.

Weiss: This isn't right...

Six: No it is not...

Radio: "Manta 5-1, we've noticed a detour in your route, you are to make your way to docking bay omega 12 immediately, do you copy over"

Maria: Ditch the ship in mantle then I lead the way from there.

Ruby: What about keith...

Qrow: We're gonna have to carry him.

Commando: I'll have that covered, don't worry.

Coda: Just let me find a place to land, I dont want a parking ticket on my first day of piloting...

Maria: Just hurry it up boy!

Weiss: I still dont get why we cant call my sister, i'm sure she can get us to ironwood

Pyrrha: Weiss, i think that may be a problem...

Pyrrha points out the window towards a projection of winter that was being broadcasted addressing curfew for mantle citizens.
