Seeing red

A/n: Really excited for this chapter since i have been planning this one for a long time so i hope you guys enjoy.

*Argus*

The students had finally taken out the shield but the situation wasn't exactly going their way, Commando circled around in the ship to keep things busy while Ruby hung onto the side of the cliff slowly making her way up by using her scythe to stab into the cliff allowing her to climb. She finally get back up and regroups with the other's, she spins back around to look at the mech.

Oscar: "Ruby can you hear me? Are you guys okay?"

Ruby: "We're okay but keith's still up there? Weren't you guys supposed to stay hidden?"

Oscar: "Look i know we were supposed to lay low but listen i think i finally found a weakness, the cylinder rotates and locks in a dust cartridge everytime she changes dust style"

Weiss: "We noticed"

Oscar: "Yes, but her missile launcher don't, they pop out and with the shields down once well placed shot and we can detonate the missile's while their still in the launcher"

Jaune: "And we can take out the cannon with it...

Ruby: "Keith's still up there, we can't just take out the mech with him on it!?"

Keith: "Do it..."

Ruby/Oscar: "What!?"

Keith: "I'll find a way down just do! We've got a shot so take it!"

Ruby: "No are you crazy!?"

Keith: "JUST TAKE THE DAMN SHOT!"

Rick looks over at Ruby, he places his hand on her shoulder.

Rick: We don't have much time before she gets impatient and gets lucky with a hit on the ship, with the cannon gone we'll have a better chance on taking it down... If keith is telling us to take the shot then he must know some way out of this situation

Ruby takes a deep breath before communicating back on her ear piece.

Ruby: Commando, circle back around... Pick up rick and get a clear shot of those missiles... Pick up Keith if you see him up there..."

Commando: "Alright on it..."

Commando spins the ship around to the cliff, Rick jumps in and they start flying towards the mech.

Oscar: How are you gonna get cordo to activate her missiles?

Commando: Don't know, but we're gonna have to try...

Commando picks up the radio and starts talking into it.

Commando: Hey old lady, We've got one missile left so how about we speed this up by letting us get a clear shot in?

Cordovin: One missile you say? Well I have plently!

Cordovin points her cannon at the ship and activates the missile launcher, Rick aims his rifle at the launcher while activating his semblance, the bullet travels and hits one of the missiles and they explode on impact, the smoke clears revealing the cannon to be perfectly intact.

Cordovin: Did you really think that the great atlas military would simply allow children to be able to take down their artillery with a mere bullet?

Cordovin charges her cannon with lightning dust and shoots it at the ship which causes it to malfunction and starts falling down into the water, Keith watches this from the mech and balls his fist in anger with his aura glowing golden once again. Commando steers the ship back to land while the engines begin to shut down due to being overcharged, he manages to crash the ship safely by using the trees to lessen the blow.
