Anyway in between uploading the last chapter and this chapter, i ended finding out the release date for the walking dead: dead city season two, so after finishing up volume 6 i'm going to be going back to the walking dead x rwby story for a bit so i can get closer to writing the walking dead spin off books, anyway i hope you enjoy

Strand had arrived in atlas via a private shuttle, he admired the large academy as he walked up towards the building, a few guards had been appointed at his side to monitor him as he entered the building, after a long walk he arrived to the headmaster's office, The guards open the door and salute the general who stood in the middle of the room looking directly at Strand.

Ironwood: Leave us.

The guards leave the office and close the door behind them, Strand grins as he looks up at ironwood.

Strand: Boss, I've gotta say I appreciate the private escort, the flight could've used some peanuts though.

Ironwood sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose.

Ironwood: I'm already tired of this... Strand I'm sure you know that i have Schnee monitoring your progress on the case of stolen military grade weapons that have circling around mantle, i must say i'm impressed

Strand: Thanks, but i already know i'm doing a good job

Ironwood: it's war for me to be impressed by the work of someone like YOU, so please take it to heart.

Strand: Don't think i've got much of a heart left, so i don't think so tin man

Ironwood: Why do I bother...

Ironwood speaks into a communication device and after a few seconds, Winter Schnee walks in through the door

Winter: You called me sir?

Ironwood: Yes, schnee take strand and debrief him on his new position in mantle.

Winter: Yes sir

Winter sighs while looking at Strand.

Winter: Follow me...

Strand: Aye aye captain

Strand fake salutes while following winter outside Ironwood's office, Once the door closes behind them ironwood sighs as he goes back to his usual work. Meanwhile Strand gets take to an empty office room, Winter sits on a table and she signals for him to sit across from her which he does.

Strand: This isn't how i imagined our first date going

Winter: Please could you be quiet for a few minutes while I tell you what you're going to be doing...

Strand: Hey you didn't turn down my offer...

Winter: Like i'd ever go out with someone like YOU, i prefer my men disciplined and not criminals

Strand: let's see how many men have fit that description in the last decade?

Winter blushes slightly before glaring at Strand.

Winter: That's none of your business.

Strand: Exactly.

Winter: I suggest you fix your attitude if you ever think of being with a woman

Strand: I'll cross that bridge when i get there, now what does ironwood want from me?

Winter takes out a holographic puck and puts it on the table, it glows revealing some bar graphs and other camera footage of mantle.
