I READ THROUGH MY CHARM'S BOOK AS I SIT IN THE GREAT HALL. Footsteps approach us. "Hi, Harry." The twins, Padma and Paravti, say with a giggle as they walk past the boy. My eyes trail over them as they walk. I clench my jaw and click my tongue as I go back to reading the book.
Flitwick, much like all of my other teachers has given me more advanced work to do. All of the charms one would learn in their fourth year at Hogwarts, I learned when I was nine. Which is why he has given me a book to read on charms for Eighth years. I feel a gaze on me and lock eyes with Harry. He smiles and his drink falls from his lips. He wipes it embarrassed and I smile slightly at him.
"Look at this!" Hermione opens her copy of the Daily Prophet. She slams it down on the table. "I can't believe it! She's done it again!" She says, enraged. "'Miss Granger, a plain but ambitious girl seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey, sources report is none other than the Bulgarian bonbon, Viktor Krum. No word yet on how Harry Potter's taking this latest emotional blow'." I put my charm's book down and look at the paper, moving it into my hands.
"'Miss Jupiter Black is none other than the mass murder Sirius Black's daughter. Much like her father she has an interest in complex and dangerous spells; a thrill for danger if you will! Her ability to defeat the dragon in such little time proves her undeniable strength in magic, but will this power turn dark? Will she be lead down the same path as her father? To finish what he started by trying to seduce and manipulate Harry Potter and lure him to his death?.'"
"'Sources report seeing Jupiter and Harry getting close after the first task. We have no news on how Harry Potter will be taking this unavoidable betrayal'." The Prophet shows an image of me running up to Harry after getting my egg. The photo shows me throwing my arms around him and holding him tightly with his hands holding my hips.
My hair turns bright red as rage bubbles beneath my skin. "She's saying I want to murder you! That daft cow!" I slam the paper on the table, causing it to shake. "She's telling the entire Wizarding world that I will be a murderer." My nails grow and dig into the table in my rage. I suck in a deep breath and twist the rings on my hand.
Harry keeps his eyes on me. "Parcel for you, Mr. Weasley." A young Gryffindor boy hands Ron a parcel. "Oh, thank you Nigel." The said boy gapes at Harry before gulping as he stares at me. Hermione nudges her head to the boy with a clear of her throat. "Not now, Nigel. Later." Ron whispers and the boy locks eyes with me. He whimpers and rushes away.
"Great, now she's made first years terrified of me." I mumble and push a hand through my now dark hair. Hermione tilts her head and looks at Ron. An owl flies over the table and drops a parcel in my hands. "I told him I'd get him Harry's autograph." Hermione sighs at Ron's words and I grab the letter on top of the parcel.
