Maddi's pov

Lumingon siya nang tinawag ko siya, and I'm right. It's her.

"What are you doing here?" I seriously asked, totally ignoring the woman infront of her.

"Sumunod ako?" Lumapit ako sakanya, na sana ay hindi ko na pala ginawa dahil biglang umakbay eto sa braso ko.

"Why? What's the problem?" I curiously asked.

"Diba–"

She cut me off. "Let's go."

Hindi na lang ako umangal pa at hinayaan ko siyang hilain ako sa kung saan.

We have two days to stay here in Palawan, and this is the first day, wala, sabi ko lang.

"Can you avoid her?"

"Who?" I asked, emotionless.

"Your ex?!" She said. I can feel her annoyance through her voice.

"I'm not even talking to her?" I seriously said.

"Really?" Kunot noong tanong niya habang nakataas ang isang kilay.

I put my hands inside my pocket at yumuko nang kaunti para magpantay ang mga mukha namin.

"Don't act like you're jealous. You're not my girlfriend, and will never be." I said and smirked at her that made her more pissed.

Umayos ako nang tayo at pinasadan ng suklay ang buhok ko patalikod gamit ang mga daliri ko.

"I don't want to see you, right? There's no reason for you to show up to me." Ani ko bago siya iniwan doon.

I kinda hate when girls are accusing their selves that they are my girlfriends. Like bro, I don't even have an interesting to you.

Instead of saying something to them, hinahayaan ko lang hanggang magsawa sila. Pero hindi naman kasi kasawa-sawa ang mukha ko kaya panay ang habol. Tsk. Tsk.

Gusto ko munang unahin ang sarili ko. As what I said, I'm done with love. Tuluyan ng naglaho ang dating ako.

The old me whom always loved women, na araw-araw may ibang babae sa bar, is not just choosing her self.

Ang korni right? That was her effect to me... years ago.

Speaking of her. Hindi sinasadyang nakasalubong ko siya sa daan.

When I passed beside her, she talked.

"Mag-usap tayo, Maddi."

Pumikit ako sa hindi malamang dahilan. Pinaghalong kaba at inis kay Jasmin.

"Tungkol?" I seriously asked.

"Sa'tin."

"Us? Walang tayo."

Hindi siya nakasagot. That made me want to take back what I said, pero hindi ko magawa, at totoo naman ang sinabi ko?

"Just a minutes, Maddi." She said, almost begging.

Her pleasing voice take me back in that cemetery scenario... where I kneeled infront of her, cried, and begged for her.
