Escape the Night: Season 3 (My Way + Self-Insert OC)

The Town

The group walks down the bridge, cautious of what waits in the town. They start to talk to each other as they get closer before a clown pops out from behind the curtain.

They all scream at the clown, some out of fear, others out of surprise. "It's your lucky day! Because the carnival's in town!" The clown giggles at the group.

Joey: I can deal with vampires, I can deal with werewolves, and all sorts of other things. But clowns? Why has it gotta be clowns?

Richard: A clown just pops out of the curtain and I wish I did grab two sticks earlier because now would be a good time for them. Seriously, are clowns anyone's thing?

MatPat: i find clowns delightful.

The clown continues to speak. "We have a strong man, a snake woman, dolls with KNIVES! It's like bloody Christmas every day!"

The clown laughs and everyone nervously follows suit, clearly scared of her.

"We will be friends soon, I've got a good feeling about that." the clown stops as no one responds before pulling open the curtain. "Enjoy the ride!"

Thanks were given out before MatPat asked the understandable question "Did she say dolls with knives?"

Rosanna: Curtains open, and I'm seeing a cute retro carnival.

Richard: Other than the clown that will probably stab someone, this place looks completely normal.

"Uh, Joey, tell me what's to save about this, as this looks fun?" Richard questioned as they walked in. "This isn't bad." MatPat confirmed showing Richard's point that nothing seemed wrong.

They then see a woman with a spider crawling out their mouth and all slightly scream in understandable terror.

"Hey there skirt, how are you?" a random man asks to Nikita. "Hi, how are you guy? she asks back in response. "So, where are going, huh?"

Nikita: So, some homeboy approached us, AKA approached me. I'm like "Oh, my God, like, you're kind of, like, everything."

"Who are you?" Teala asks the man, who then promptly says his name, "I'm Mortimer." "He's lying!" Roi jokingly says.

"Why don't you just play some games and have a good time before my mom shows up, you know?" Mortimer says followed by Nikita flirtingly asking a question.

"Are you a mama's boy?" "My mom's the mayor." was Mortimer's response.

Manny: He's cute, but he starts talking to us, and we're like, "We don't know you, though. So, what are you doing here?"

"Guys, free popcorn over here," MatPat says to the group, perking their attention, especially Richard.

Richard: Look, I'm a little goblin for food, I eat whole pizzas for dinner when I have them. If I'm feeling munchy, I'll get myself chips, or microwave popcorn. That and some grated cheese, mmm. So I grab a lot of popcorn, I win a little orange monkey, him name Braig, but other than that I hover over the popcorn stand.

JC: There's free food. There's free games. Let's settle down, y'know. The problems will come to us, we're fine.

Everyone starts playing games, and having fun, Richard hangs around the popcorn stand, messing around with Braig.

MatPat: Everyone's happy, everyone's normal. They're all having a great time.

The fun continues. JC, Safiya, and MatPat all play a game of hitting targets. They win, and the carnie grabs a big pink pony.

"Her name is Blanche, OK."
"Blanche?"
"She belongs to you now."
"Hey, Blanche."
"Yeah."
"Thank you!"

Safiya: So the guy seems extremely happy. Like, I would say, like, questionably happy

JC, Teala, and Joey stand in a group by themselves. "So we're here, now what do we do?" JC asks. Joey looks around dumbfounded, as, he was expecting something to be needing saving immediately. "I don't know." is all he can say.

"Does this town need saving?" JC asks before the trio looks at the carnie near them who just keeps smiling. "Smile if you need saving." Joey jokingly asks as the carnie keeps creepily smiling. "She smiled!" Joey and Teala both say at the same time.

Joey: I feel bad that I'm keeping a secret about my mission, but at the same time, I'm kinda relieved because it doesn't seem like there's any danger in the town.

MatPat, Ro, and Roi all stand near a nacho stand as Roi jumps at a woman creepily inching over the stand. "Sorry, she scared me." Roi says to the duo as they turn to look.

Rosanna: I thought, "Let's use my social skills as a jet setter and see what's going on here."

"Hello, bonjour-" Ro doesn't get a chance to introduce herself before the woman speaks. "The stars." the woman says to Ro. "She's talking about the stars again." MatPat says even though he hasn't met her.

"The stars have been talking to me." the woman continued, ignoring MatPat's comment. "So, what are they saying?" Ro asks before the woman continues, "All kinds of secrets."

"Are they friendship secrets, they light-hearted sec- dark secrets?" Ro asks again, trying to get as much information as possible. Both talk over each other, Ro continuing to ask what secrets as the woman mentions that "He's coming."

Roi: She's just talking about the stars or someone's coming. He's coming.

"Wh- Who's coming." Roi asked as the woman ignored him and petted Ro's purple plushie dog she named Blueberry.

"You can have it." Roi said as he was pushing the dog to her hand, clearly wanting this to be done.

"Oh, no, don't-" MatPat started to say before Ro interjected. "That's Blueberry." "This is Blueberry" added Roi, still wanting to leave the woman.
