The chamber opened up and Joey grabbed the Night Killer's doll as Richard and Ro uncovered their ears. They hugged Safiya for dear life as the doll was cleansed and outside the two twins faded into black smoke. Richard walked over and grabbed the doll from Joey's hands, he looked at it before he raised his tear-stained head to the group. "We all have to be strong. We need to save this town before sunrise or all of this would be for nothing." he said with tears still running down his face.
Richard: I'm super sad that he's gone, but we need to move on to save this town. It's what he would've wanted.
Manny: The artifact is cleansed. We gotta get going.
The group silently walked out of the Dollmaker's Shoppe and headed back to the lounge. Richard placed the Night Killer's doll in a cubbie as Joey and Safiya pulled out the Lazarus box.
Safiya: The good news is, we have the second coin for the Lazarus box.
Richard and Joey pulled out their coins and walked to the box sitting on the coffee table.
Joey: I'm just hoping that this coin can offer some sort of hope for us, because the morale in the group is pretty low.
"This better be worth it." Manny stated as Joey and Richard placed their coins in the holes. The box opened up and Joey reached inside, "It's a harp." Richard pulled out a note and began to read, "The harp of Lazarus only has one song left to play before its magic is gone. Its music has the power to bring one of your friends back from the dead." Richard started to smile as he read. "Name them and strum the harp three times." The group was shocked at what the note had said, "Oh, my God! I just got chills!" Manny said before Richard continued to read.
Safiya: This changes everything
"The two who found the coins will make the final choice on who returns." Safiya looked between the two, "Choose wisely."
Manny: Who in the hell are they gonna pick? It better be someone good.
Richard and Joey moved to one corner of the room to discuss who to bring back, but no conversation was made as both looked at the glasses strung on Richard's collar.
Richard: Everyone, but Teala, sorry, was a good choice. But like Roi said, there was only one logical answer.
Richard swapped his glasses for Mat's before looking at Joey. "Mat." they both whisper as Richard strums the harp three times. The group looks at each other as they wait for whoever to come back.
