Calliope went to grab the map and go to the group outside when she saw Richard burst inside the lounge, only relaxing after he sat on the couch. "What happened, my child?" Calliope asked, her concern growing the longer the wait.
The group entered the lounge right as he gave Calliope the answer, "Church." Her eyes widen at the word, before pulling Richard up and lightly pushing him to the group. She went to the map and put it on the table as Ro hugged the man Calliope was just talking to. The group sat on the couch before looking at the map.
Safiya: So we get back to the lounge and check the map and on it, we see a police station and another carnival tent that's appeared.
"This town has had police the entire time?" MatPat said, everyone also in combined disbelief until Richard said, "Knowing what has happened to us, they're probably evil." The group found the new message written on the map and Richard cleared his throat to read
"You think you're stronger than me, kid? I'm stronger than ten men. I'm strong like a demon. Come to the show and prove your strength." Richard said in a gruff voice getting snaps from MatPat, "From a theater kid to a theater kid." MatPat added.
They could hear someone yell from outside the lounge, not an 'I need saving' yell, but a classic carnie 'get on the ride' yell. The group went outside to see an old woman outside the new tent yelling "Step right up!"
MatPat: Someone from the big tent calls out to us.
The group walks over to the woman, her southern drawl way more evident at a closer distance. "Y'all here to see the strongman, huh?" the group agrees as Manny asks "Is he a nice strongman?" "You gonna find out, aren't you, handsome?" the woman said before spitting on the ground in front of Manny's feet.
Rosanna: We're greeted by a carnie. she's kind of crass and she's spitting, like, at us.
"Step inside." the woman said. The group walked inside as Joey tried to remind them of danger when the woman interrupted him. "Only the strongest among you can open the strongman's box. So we're gonna have us a little arm-wrestling match to find out which one of y'all is the strongest. I need y'all to pair up into teams." The group walked over to the blackboard to write down their names.
Manny: Yes, I am the boy with all the makeup on, I am the prettiest one, but I'm like, "You know what? I can still be the strongest one too."
Richard: I am the weakest one I know so I snag up Ro, but I still don't think I can beat her after the whole giraffe situation from after the Ferris wheel.

Roi goes to the table with Mat, who takes off his jacket. "May the best person win. Go!" the carnie said before letting go of the competitors' arms. Mat and Roi were neck and neck when Mat got the upper hand. He overpowered Roi and pushed the hand down to the mat.
Roi: Man, maybe I should've gone with Ro.
