The Crash

The intro begins to play. The moon shines over a bird's eye view of the town. Teala and Nikita are shown tied to the merry-go-round as High Tower and Sally Slaughter are about to slam their weapons into them. JC is tied to a wonder wheel as the lead clown throws a knife narrowly missing him. MatPat is shown running from the funhouse before showing Roi narrowly missing being chomped by the jaws. Safiya and Manny are shown chained and trying to run from The Carnival Master, who holds their chains as the Demon Dog is by his side. Richard is shown in front of the graveyard holding a sharpened stick, Ro is then quickly shown running from something unseen before panning to Joey, standing in the middle of the town handing the camera a ticket.

Escape The Night

"The thing is, we have to remember the pact that we made at the beginning of this mission. No hard feelings." MatPat started before Safiya and Richard continued. "We should just also keep in mind that someone's lying to us." "And we need to stop with the fights and the screaming at each other because the sun's gonna come up any second, and we have a lot more work to do, so we need to figure out what's going on with this box." "Well, I'm noticing that the box actually has the same symbols on it that were on your briefcase." MatPat said pointing to the box as Joey nodded his head.

MatPat: That symbol that's on top of the box is actually the same symbol that helped us with the séance to get to the 1970s to begin with.

"And you said that those were..." MatPat continued before Joey interrupted with the answer, "It's the Society Against Evil symbol." "Well, what do you know about that?" Richard asks him. "Essentially, the Society Against Evil fights all evil. I've been with them before." Joey responds, during which, he looks to the wall as if he's trying to find a way to phrase it so a secret isn't let out.

Joey: Once Mat starts to realize that there's a connection, I realize I should probably explain a little bit more.

"And so they're the ones who are out to help this town?" MatPat asked the man who brought them there. "They failed in their mission, and that's why we're here." Joey responded.

MatPat: Two people have died, and finally now you decide that this is pertinent information for us to know, Joey? I'm not buying it.

"If they failed, how are we supposed to succeed?" Roi asked the group, everyone stumped on how.

Joey: They don't know what's happened to me in the past, otherwise they would not be on this adventure with me.

As the group talks around him, he remembers the note from Shane's pocket that started everything.

I am a member of a secret organization known as the Society Against Evil, and we've been battling this wicked force for centuries.

"So that symbol-" MatPat began when Safiya interrupted him, adding that it was on the map. JC went up to grab it from the wall. "Bring it over here JC." Joey said, as if JC wasn't already doing that.

Safiya: As with the last time we cleansed an artifact, there's now something new on the map.

JC put the map down and everyone noted the same green stuff, "This looks like green smoke." Joey said while Manny said, "This looks like moss." Richard joked, saying, "Looks like someone's got bad breath."

Richard continued, "Alright, we got Shag's Motel, uncomfortable name." a few people chuckled when Roi pointed out something else, "Man With No Name's Lair. The Man with No Name was hunted because the town thought he was a freak of nature. He sure showed them." Something fell from the roof and alerted the guests with a crash. Everyone got up and walked to the sound to see what it was.

Manny: When I hear crashes like this, I'm thinking, no I don't wanna go outside, like, please, I really don't wanna go outside.

The group opened the arcade door, "I think we should check it out, right?" Mortimer said.

Manny (cont.): Yeah, I mean, I'm that girl, I'm like the one that's like, why are we going towards the crash? I don't understand.

"Nothing's here. I don't see anything." Joey said walking away from where the noise originated. Manny and Richard walked to it before looking down from the patio to see it on the popcorn machine. "Oh, my God, it's a body!" Manny yelled while Richard yelped.

"Should we take him off the popcorn machine?" MatPat asks. Joey ripped off the body bag revealing the man inside. "Wait, wait, wait! There's a book in here." Manny said pulling out the book, "Inside we go. F*ck off, demons of the night!" Richard said flipping off the air before going inside last.
