The Sideways Set
"Listen to this one." Joey told his group before he turned to the note on the wall in the sideways room. "My wife loved to pursue the encyclopedias, but she lays them around. Was it that hard to put them back together?" he read when Manny turned away. "Where they belong, okay." he stated before speedwalking away from the note.
Manny: I'm truly- like, my heart rate just goes higher and higher and higher. I swear the diarrhea gets worse. It literally just becomes a thing.
Joey opened a drawer to reveal, "Oh, I got an encyclopedia!" Richard found another one and looked at the spine, "Okay, we got F. Joey, what letter is yours!" Everyone scrambled to find encyclopedias when Joey and Manny found where to put them. Manny placed each book down until he saw, "We need E, you guys. That's all we need is E."
The Candy Club
Mat looked through the rest of the chest, "Okay, we got a key, we've got the World Encyclopedia, and we have-" He got interrupted by Safiya finishing the findings with, "All these rings."
Rosanna: We find this encyclopedia in the room, and it's not helping us in any situation. It must be something to help our friends.
Willie walks into the funhouse's secret room with the dial of disaster and spins it, landing on the candy room. The trio realized the book belonged in another room when Willie waltzed into the room, "Come on out!" he screamed. The group ran to the corner of the room as he walked inside.
MatPat: There is no place for us to hide. We're in such a small space, he finds us in no time.
Willie found the group and grabbed the first one he saw, Mat. Ro grabbed onto Mat's legs as Willie pulled him. "Take the key! Use the key on the box!" he yelled out as he got pulled away
The Prison Pal
MatPat (cont.): So Willie drags me through the house back through the elevator and takes me around back where he throws me into a chain link prison. Why me? Leave me alone, four face! I'm looking for a way out. I try ramming down the door. I start looking on the ground for anything that might be a key or help me pick a lock. Nothing. I'm stuck.
The Candy Crew
Safiya picked up the key Mat put on the candy box as Ro looked around, "Here, this has a lock. Use this." Ro pointed out the padlocked wall piece to Safiya. She went to the wall and put the key in, "Hello!" Mat yelled from the cage, "Mat!" Ro yelled back as Safiya opened the wall. "Mat, we're gonna come help you, okay?"
Safiya read from the note inside the wall, "This was one of my favorite pieces till my wife smashed it. Reassemble it just right, please." Safiya started to strategize based on the colors, maybe they had to be similar to the ones around them.
Safiya: At first, I thought the game was that you were supposed to line up the colors so that you were always next to, like, a matching color, but there are not enough pieces with the right colors.
"This is wrong. This is wrong." Safiya repeats, taking off all of the pieces they put on. Ro and Safiya stood trying to figure out what to do.
Ro: So we're thinking that there has to be something else in another room that our friends could maybe help us with.
The Sideways Set
Manny read from the note his group found, "My favorite artist. I'd take one. Your friends in the other room will surely need it. Joey questioned what it was, Manny reread, and Richard looked around until, "Found it! Here you go, Joey." He handed a map to Joey.
Joey: So Richard found this map with a bunch of, like, lollipop shapes that connects to the Candy Land room.
Willie spun the dial of disaster again landing on the sideways room, this time, the group had some time to try and hide. Manny and Joey hid behind a table while Richard hid under a chair.
Richard: Mr. D.I.D. walks into our room, but there's nowhere to hide, so he grabs me.
The Prison Pals
MatPat: Here he comes again, this time dragging Richard with him.
Willie, who had his happy face on, opened the door for Richard. "Oh, I'll gladly go inside." he sarcastically said as Willie said, "There you are. Have a great time, you guys. Coffee will be served later. Bye."
The Sideways Set
Joey and Manny got out of their hiding spot and searched around. Joey found a note under the shelf and read, "You'd never find my wife without a drink.' That- the drink!" Joey pointed at the silver cup on a table. Manny picked up the cup as Joey read more of the note, "I don't ever want to see that goblet again. Just put it in the rafters.
Manny: Hmm, hmm
Manny called Joey over to a wall in the middle of the room, "What is- It's pointing at something." Joey suggested placing the cup there and Manny did so, both going back to trying to find the missing book.
The Candy Club
The red light began to flash and Ro grabbed the book and ran through the balloons to the elevator. "Keep working! I'm going! I'm going!"
Rosanna: The red light goes on, and that means I gotta get back in the elevator or uh-oh. So I grab the book and jump on in.
The Sideways Set
Ro walked out of the elevator to see "Joey? Manny?" she called out to the two men searching through cabinets. "She has the final book!" Joey yelled as she ran over, the last encyclopedia in hand. Manny grabbed the book and slotted it where it belonged and a painting opened, revealing a safe.
Manny leaned sideways and read from the note, "I hid this money from my wife so that one day I could escape. The combination is in the constellations of the sky. Maybe a friend can give you a hand?" The red light began to flash again and everyone panicked. Manny picked up the lollipop map on the ground and realized that's what's needed in the candy room.
Joey: So the red light goes off, and I'm like, "All right, I was the first one in here. I gotta go."
The Candy Club
"Oh, my gosh! It's so crazy in here! What is this place?" Joey yelled out as he exited the elevator and walked through balloons. "Joey, I need the map." Safiya called out to the man, who showed her the paper with the lollipops.
Joey: So I show her this pamphlet that I have that basically is the key to what we need to do.
Joey held the map as Safiya looked and placed a lollipop when the red light flashed again. "Oh crap. That's the red light. Joey, I have to go!" Safiya yelled as she ran to the elevator.
Safiya: The red light goes off, and I have to run into the elevator. And I end up in this lava room.
