Safiya: To cleanse this artifact, we're gonna have to reattach this head to the body, wherever that might be.
"Should we go to the Doll Maker's Shoppe? I mean, the map added it, so we need to go there." Richard suggested, the rest of the group agreeing with him. They start walking to the new building, which had giant fake hands above the door.
Richard: I'm running over because I wanna go home, and then I see the big, giant hands.
"Why did there need to be hands?" Richard whispered to himself when Roi noticed something. "There's a foot! And another!" he shouted, Richard looked and saw a line of little feet on the ground. "Follow me! It's a trail!" Richard yelled, running off to find where or what they were being led to.
Manny: We see the next foot and then another little foot.
Rosanna: It's like a trail of breadcrumbs.
Richard kept following the feet when he reached the last one, "A key! Where's a door?" He turned around to see the rest of the group behind him. "Here's a lock." Manny pointed out to Richard, "Thank you." the younger man said before opening the locked door.
Manny: I feel like I'm watching a horror movie with us and I'm yelling at myself on the screen, "Don't go in there, you dumb bitch!" And we're walking in.
They walked inside to see various dolls in torture machines and a headless doll body locked in a glass case. "Well, that has to be the Night Killer's Doll's body." Richard assumed, pointing at the body in the glass case.
Rosanna: This warehouse looks like a torture chamber for dolls.
Safiya: Inside of the glass case is what looks like the body that corresponds to the head of the doll that we need to connect.
"Oh God! I'm going to hate this!" Richard exclaimed as he walked further into the warehouse reaching the case. Rosanna picked up a journal next to the case, "Ugh, not that I want to be reading a creepy journal. Okay." she said as she opened the journal revealing the notes left inside.
She handed it over to Manny, who began to read, "I didn't know what The Carnival Master had given me. It's no ordinary doll. I discovered it's made from the skin of a serial killer..." he read before Richard interrupted him, "Great! Creepy, gross skin dolls! My favorite!" Everyone else shared a similar discomfort at knowing what the doll was made of.
"...known as the Night Killer." Manny continued, "I couldn't fathom the things he did to people. I locked the case with each act. Only a sick and twisted mind will be able to open it, and they'll deserve what they find." He finished reading and closed the journal. Safiya looked to see notes lying in front of each doll.
"There are these clues in front of every doll. And by the looks of it, you guys, I think we're gonna have to torture these dolls." Safiya noted to the group. Joey shuddered at the thought while Richard said, "Yay! An output for my grief and anger!"
Safiya: Each torture device basically tells us how we have to torture each doll to open one of the locks on the glass case in the middle of the room.
Richard: The first doll I see is sitting by a big bowl of water, so we're gonna drown that doll.
Safiya picked up the note to read how to torture the doll, "The bad ones he sent to the bottom of the lake." Richard looked to see a bag of coins on the table and one of the doll's ankles. "Who here wants to tie a knot 'cause I suck at that." he asked the group before Joey grabbed the doll and tied the knot.
"Thanks, Joey." the youngest stated before turning to the bowl. "I do not like being a serial killer." Ro innocently said, "I don't either, but I need an outlet." Richard said before dunking the doll into the water. The chain lock on the box made a noise, "Wait, you guys, one of the locks just opened!" Safiya exclaimed. The rest of the group looked at the box to see that she was right.
"Oh, my God! It worked!" Manny exclaimed as well, the group moving to the next torture device. Richard read out the next clue, "This one is tongue-tied. Getting her to talk may be a stretch." Manny walked over to the doll and grabbed the tweezers by it. He pulled on the tongue until the lock opened right as the tongue ripped off.
"It worked!" Richard quietly jumped in joy a bit before walking to the next doll. "I don't understand this one." Safiya said as they reached the next doll. She read the note to the others to see if they could understand, "Sawing right down the middle is the key. No touching the doll but you may still have to get your hands dirty." Richard looked around the room, "We need a saw!" he told the group.
Safiya: We end up in front of this doll that needs to be sawed in half. But we don't have a saw.
"I found a jar! It says 'Reach inside if you dare." Roi yelled with the jar in hand, "You may still need to get your hands dirty. Open it!" Richard said, remembering the clue. Roi put the jar on the table, "All right, hold my jacket." he asked Richard who helped take it off. Roi reached inside and groaned with displeasure, he pushed through whatever muck was inside the jar to find a key.
Roi: I feel around, and I find a key, which will probably help find the saw we need.
Joey finds a red toolbox on the shelf and brings it over. Roi unlocks the box to find the saw, which Safiya grabs. She walks over to the doll and begins slowly sawing it in half. Manny and Richard hold the machine the doll is chained in to keep it from falling. The last lock fell and the door opened letting them have access to the body.
Safiya: The last lock falls off. We've got the body.
Joey read out the note in front of the body, "The Night Killer murdered over a hundred people before he was carved up and turned into a doll. His evil acts live on in this child's toy, granting it the power to bring the inanimate to life." "Oh great, living dolls! Even better!" Richard said through clenched teeth before Roi finished the note.
"After reconnecting the head, place the doll in the base of the Maiden of Madness to complete the cleansing. Rumor has it the Doll Maker locked the maiden away inside his shop by order of The Carnival Master." he finished the note.
Safiya: We're gonna have to put this doll inside of the Maiden of Madness, whatever that is.
Joey reconnected the head to the body summoning whatever monster they had to deal with next. Outside in the streets of Everlock, two twin dolls stood. Both had the same clothes, same hair, same face, they were identical except for the fact that one was shorter than the other. The group heard something crank and turned to see a box open.
Manny: Boom! Another clue just gets unlocked.
