The Artifact: III

Ro ran out of the lair to Mortimer and Calliope. "Hurry, place the stone." Mortimer tells her as she reaches them. She put the stone in the gaping hole in the middle of the statue.

Benjamin stood at the other side of the bridge before disapating into a green cloud. The fog around he lair slowly disapated afterward. Ro was tearing up at JC's sacrifice for her to escape.

At The Lounge

A minute or two after JC and Ro left, Richard got up and found a piece of paper and a pen. He sat back down and started to write something. Minutes past by before MatPat asked, "What are you doing?"

"Writing a letter for someone important." Richard responded, "Who?" Manny asked for elaboration. Richard put the pen down, looked at his right hand which previously held the pen, before raising it with all fingers except for his ring finger down.

He wore a ring with ruby and emerald inside. Everyone gasped at the realization that he had a wife. He grabbed the pen again and continued to write when Ro walked into the lounge, holding the Statue of Era and tearing up, with Calliope and Mortimer behind her.

Everyone except Richard got up, the youngest member of the group only raising his head when the rest shouted Ro's name. He raised from the couch and hugged MatPat so hard, he thought the theorist would explode.

Everyone asked what went down when Ro stated, "I'm a fighter. And I'm gonna stick it out till the end." People started to clap and MatPat said, "How Rosanna got her groove back." causing Richard to chuckle. She walked over to a cubbie and put the artifact inside. "Just my height." she added causing everyone to laugh.

Joey: I can definetly tell that Ro's spirits are back up. She's so happy and proud of herself for making it out of there alive, and I think we're gonna see a new Ro moving forward.

"Get over here." MatPat said as everyone went into a group Ro hug.

Manny: So Ro comes in with the third artifact cleansed, and we are feeling ourselves, we only have five to go.

When everyone sat down, Richard saw how Ro was tearing up and asked what was wrong, getting everyone's attention.

"It's just that, JC sacrificed himself for me. He put most of his letters in his pocket and only pulled them out when I had all of mine and did nothing. He said it was because you would be sad if I died."

Everyone except Richard gasped or put a hand over their mouth. "He cheated to lose." was all Richard could say. Calliope did the same process she did when Teala and Nikita died, now with JC.

Richard: We just lost a good mathmatitian in JC just like that, and that just proved that no matter how useful you were, one slip up and you could die.
