The Lava Lad
Safiya: I have to press the button on top of the podium to get a pattern of lights, and then I have to press all of those lights in the corresponding color order. So this lava room is basically like one big giant Simon Says game.
The Prison Pals
Mat and Richard sat against one of the walls in the cell, nothing they could do could let them out. "Hey, Mat." Richard said out of nowhere, "Yeah?" the man responded. "If I die and you escape, before you leave this town, take off my clothes." Richard asked, Mat turned to him in surprise and the younger man elaborated.
"I want to continue using these clothes if somehow, there is a way for me to get revived like you. So after you save the town, if I'm dead, come back to my body, and take off my clothes. Leave the briefs though, I have plenty at home."
Richard: Also, I want my wife to have multiple objects to remember me by if I die.
The Sideways Set
Manny reread the note and instructed Ro to look around for stars and constellations. Ro checked the window and Manny checked the door, but both saw it was daytime with zero chance of stars.
The Candy Club
Joey followed the map and placed the last lollipop in place and a recording of Willie played afterwards. "You did a good job. You've completed this room." Joey flinched and looked around as the audio played.
Joey: So I solve that, and then I get to go into the final room.
The Lava Lads
Joey walked out of the elevator to see Safiya jumping around the room, pressing buttons of various colors like a mixture of Simon Says and The Floor Is Lava.
"What the hell?"
"One second, Joey!"
"Okay, hi. What's going on in here?"
The Sideways Set
Manny and Ro kept searching for stars in the room, but nothing came up.
Rosanna: And we put it together that we're supposed to... (waves her arm around in silence, unable to find words.) Yep.
The red light flashed again and Ro ran to the elevator which spun her to the lava room.
Rosanna: In the lava room, I spot this constellation. It is so beautiful. And it got me to thinking about what Manny and I were just talking about.
Manny walked around the room until he spotted something on the wall. When he put his eye to it, he saw the group in the lava room. "You guys, you guys!" he yelled into the hole, hoping one of them would notice. He kept yelling as they focused on the Simon Says game inside instead of their friend calling them.
He called out to Safiya and when she answered he told them what he needed. "Okay, there's constellations on the wall. I need you guys to give me that code." Joey finally noticed the hole he was talking through and they began talking in cute falsettos before getting back to business.
Ro announced that the first number was five before immediately correcting herself, saying it was six. Manny laughed when Ro called out all the numbers, "6548!" Manny inputted the numbers, opening the safe. He pulled out the money inside and pulled a lever, getting a recording of Willie telling him he completed the room.
The Final Three
Willie walked into the lava room and chased after Joey. He grabbed him and walked to the cage to throw him inside, joining Richard and MatPat.
Joey: Honestly, I was ready for Willie to come and take me. I was having quite some difficulty remembering what those colors were.
Manny ran to the elevator as the red light flashed, joining Safiya and Ro in the lava room. Safiya explained her plan of her remembering half of the colors and the other two remembering the other half. She pressed the button and Manny watched it glow, intrigued like a moth when Willie waltzed in.
"Are we having fun in here? Does anyone wanna go for a walk? Ooh, let's run off. Let's run off." He ran Manny into a corner, "We're gonna go for a little walk, maybe reapply some mascara, who knows?" Willie said as he took Manny away, who said he had lashes on and didn't need mascara.
MatPat: Manny comes next, and by this point, we're all pretty helpless. We're all at the mercy of Willie.
Safiya: So I basically tell Ro I'm gonna cover the first four colors.
Rosanna: She pushes her buttons, and I hop around and push my buttons.
Ro pushed the final button and a recording of Willie played. "We have a winner, ladies and gentlemen. Both of you exit the room and claim your prize.
Rosanna: Let the record show the funhouse was not fun. I gave it a zero stars on Yelp.
Safiya: We run down the hallway, and at the end of the hallway, we see a note and a box hanging with two light bulbs inside. And I'm thinking these must be the light bulbs that go inside the artifact.
Ro grabbed the note and read, "Lucky you, take your first prize. Now follow me to claim your second." She was confused when Willie walked to the cage where he kept the captured guests. He opened it and ushered everyone out before taking the box with the bulbs, handing them to Richard, grabbing Safiya and Ro, and locking them in the cage.
"Your final prize is that you get to undertake my final challenge. Now be good little girls and stay inside so I can set up my funhouse for you. Be wary though, who knows what could happen inside." Willie said in a cheery voice before turning to Mat, Richard, Joey, and Manny. "And for you four, go to the lounge and panic over who lives. Go!" He said after turning his head to anger. The four ran off, screaming good luck to Ro and Safiya.
Richard: What the f*ck, Willie! They have a chance at death just because they won? You really are insane, you f*cker!
