The Artifact: IV

The rest of the group ran into the lounge, Roi and Richard way behind due to Richard's thrashing. They all work together to wrap the leather band over the artifact, cleansing it. The strongman roars in victory before looking at his arm, he and Veronica disappear into the air as the artifact finishes glowing.

Richard stops fighting as Roi pulls him into the lounge, once inside he leaves him on the floor, Richard too shaken up to move. Ro grabs him off the floor and pulls him onto the couch as he looks completely broken, tears still running down his face.

Safiya: So we've cleansed the fourth artifact, but we've also lost Mat, which is probably our biggest loss up until this point.

Manny put the pyramid in one of the cubbies, "Just for the record, the strongest man, full face of makeup." he said before walking back to the couch.

Manny: I'm thrilled at the fact that I won, but I'm also feeling devastated. And I'm thinking, did we really just mess up?

Joey: All my cards are on the table at this point. There's nothing left to hide and we just need to band together at this point if we want to make it out of here alive.

Safiya: I'm trying not to feel hopeless. We still have one of the Lazarus coins and I'm just focusing on finding the next one and surviving.

Rosanna: One of the many reasons I love Mat is because he is a team player. His last words were "go find that other coin," and we have to do it. That's the only way we can honor him.

Ro grabbed Mat's badge and started drawing out the lines on it when Richard finally moved again. He grabbed Mat's glasses and hung them on his shirt's collar.

Richard: I just lost an amazing friend. I may not have known him long, but he was the best you could ask for. And I'm feeling down, but I need to pick myself up and escape. For Mat. For all of them.
