Ro sat crying next to Safiya's body when Willie began to talk. "See I lied. The winner wouldn't escape, I just wanted a little twist. To be honest, when The Carnival Master told me of your arrival, I had problems choosing between forcing the last two to leave my funhouse into the challenge and killing the winner. Or letting them escape, vote on two of their friends to brave it one more time, and killing whoever voted for the winner. You can see which one I chose, now scram!"
Ro ran to the elevator which spun to the entrance hallway where a box hung with the last light bulb inside. Ro grabbed the box and slowly and solemnly walked back to the lounge.
Back at the lounge, Mat pulled out the note he got in the candy room. "Now is as good of a time as any. 'Carnival Master corrupted one of you." Joey picked up the note, "This probably means someone recently became corrupted." Manny turned his head to Mat, "Do you feel funny?" he asked. Mat widened his eyes and started to chuckle, "Why- Why do you think it's me?"
Ro walked into the lounge with her head down and everyone ran and hugged her. "Ro, you won!" Mat exclaimed as she sat on the couch, "I didn't." Everyone wondered what she meant but got the answer immediately afterward. "She won the challenge before me but Willie killed her. He said he wanted a twist and decided that the two winners would be pitted against each other and the winner out of the two would die." she glumly confessed before placing the blub on the table.
Mat grabbed the bulb and placed it on the artifact, causing Willie to dissipate into the air. Ro turned her head to Richard and smiled, she got on her knees in front of him and shook him a bit. "Wake up, Richie. I'm here." Richard opened his eyes to see Ro's face, "Ro!" he yelled out and hugged her for dear life, not wanting her to go in another challenge. Mat walked back from the shelf of artifacts and joined in Ro and Richard's hug. Eventually, Joey and Manny joined in too, happy to see Richard back in good spirits.
