The Straightjacket Key Hunt Challenge

Richard's POV

We walk into the Big Top Tent to see Mortimer, shirtless, captured by Lucy, nine boxes, popcorn, balloons, and the wonder wheels from the clown's challenge have returned with Teala's body still on them. Lucy drops Mortimer and heads to the wonder wheel with Teala, "Hey, Teala! Should they be punished for killing Humphrey."

She grabs Teala's jaw and treats her like a ventriloquist puppet, "Yeah, of course they should. And Mat should be punished for letting me die." I turn to Mat to see he starts to cry at the reminder of his failure. I put a hand on his shoulder as Lucy continues, "I know, but he wasn't voted in. The two tied to each other were."

"Aww, I was hoping to see his guts fall out." I hug Mat as Lucy continues. I let go and lean into Joey's ear, "Keep an eye on Mortimer. I think he's been corrupted and is not in control." Lucy skips over to us and unlocks our handcuffs with bitterness. "Please, let's just get this over with, please." Mortimer says as he hands us the note, now with his jacket on.

Joey: This is so hard to watch. These are literally the only two friends that have had my back this whole time. And now they are fighting each other, and I don't know who I want to win.

"There are nine boxes and nine keys among the pool. One box holds salvation. Pop your balloon to be free of your straightjacket. Find the right key before your friend, or this might be your end." Ro and I read at the same time. Lucy comes over with straightjackets and puts them on us. "Before we start the challenge..." Mat reaches into the pool and pulls out popcorn.

"Really, Mat?" both of us ask at the same time before all four of us laugh. "Go!" Lucy yells out and we both run into the pool and start popping balloons. Both of us finish popping our balloons and start getting untied.

Richard: We jump in, we both pop them at, practically, the same time. They help us undo the straightjackets, and I wait for Ro to get untied.

Once Ro gets untied, we both run off to the pool, searching for keys amongst the popcorn. Ro finds a key and runs over to a box, she opens it and... nothing. Ro playfully splashes some popcorn at me and I engage in it too. This might be the last time I can have fun in my life. We both begin to dig through popcorn again and Ro finds a second key.

Richard: Ro is finding all the keys.

She opens another box to find more nothing. Lucy continues to taunt us with Teala's corpse, but I just have to tune her out. I dig through more popcorn and find my first key, I run over to a box and unlock it revealing nothing but hay. "Come on, you guys!" Lucy yells out, I turn to her and yell back, "SHUT UP, NURSE!"

I get back in the pool and see Ro lifting a box, either the box is hollow, or Ro is pumping with Adrenaline. I find another key and run over to the boxes as Ro finds a key under the box she lifted and she runs over too. We both look at each other and open our boxes at the same time, "1, 2, 3!" we yell out.

Rosanna's POV

 I open my box to find nothing while Richie stares at the contents of his.

Richard: I get a note that says, "Kill yourself or kill your friend to claim the ring. You decide how this ends." and a pink gun.

"Ro, I love you." I hear his words and look up to see him pointing the barrel of a gun at his temple. "Richie, put the gun down." I start to cry, remembering everything we went through. The Ferris wheel, the tent, the challenges he was in, the hugs, the arm wrestling. "Ro, I love you." he repeats.

Joey and Mat hold a hand over their mouths and I walk closer to him. "Richie, put it down." tears run down my cheeks. "RO, I LOVE YOU!" he yells out as he tightens his finger on the trigger, "NO!" I run over to him.
