The Champions

"We need to get Joey, quick." Ro said as Mat and her ran into Fat Man Slim's. They looked out the window to see Joey stumbling through the arcade's porch. "Joey, follow my voice! Keep going straight!" Mat yelled out to Joey, who got closer and closer to Fat Man Slim's before taking the bag off and running inside.

Once inside, Mat handed Joey the note that came with the last Life Stone. "The faces of your deceased friends have a message on their backs that will turn the tide in your fight against them." Ro rotated her hands over and over trying to think of what 'faces of your deceased friends' meant.

MatPat: What's that mean? Are we going and defiling more corpses? Are we having to like, bring Safiya back, and be like, well, what's on her back?

The three continued to try and figure out the clue when Ro stopped her hand rotations. "The cards! The voting cards!" Mat and Joey both looked up and Mat flung the mask around in realization. "Oh, it's the cards!"

MatPat: We pretty quickly realized that this is talking about the cards that we've been using to vote each other into these challenges. So it looks like we're heading back to the Divine Lounge before we're getting out of this one final time.

Rosanna: I think my fear of zombies will be gone after this night because if my shoe is anything, I'll be fine.

The trio ran out of Fat Man Slim's, each holding a Life Stone and Mat holding the hood, and into the streets. They bobbed and weaved around zombies and into the arcade. "Okay, here, let's board this up again." Joey instructed before he and Ro grabbed the board and placed it on the holders. They walked into the lounge, "Okay, the voting box." Mat called out.

MatPat: We see the box that Calliope has been storing all the cards in, but there's no way to open it.

Rosanna: I saw the shape and felt peculiar about it, then I looked at the Life Stone's base and found out why.

Ro put her Life Stone on the box's lid, both glowed, and the part with the slot for the cards blasted open. Joey went to reach into the box when Mat kept him away.

MatPat: We have access to the cards, but I think some others want to help.

Joey was about to protest when several sets of ghostly blue hands appeared from thin air and reached in each pulling out one card. The first set seemed bland but had similar nails to the second set, which also had a few rings on it. The third set had parts of their flowery sleeves showing, the fourth set had a tassel or two, the fifth set was also pretty bland, the sixth set had plenty of rings, and the seventh had one ring on the ring finger.

"Hey, guys." Ro said waving to the hands before each of their owners went to the table. Joey couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the hands all working together to put the cards in the right order. Teala picked up the pace and seemed to be the hands telling the others where to put the cards. The cards connected in the order of death, Teala to Nikita to JC to Roi to Safiya to Manny, and finally, to Richard.

His hands stayed longer than the others, which glowed red and disappeared after the cards were placed. The trio went to the table as he wrote something near the box. "With the power of the Life Stones, place the stones around the harp, and strum it twice. The Lazarus Harp can be used to summon fallen champions." they all read out.

Richard's hands finished the note and placed it next to Ro, who picked it up and read it aloud.

Once The Carnival Master is slain, come back to the lounge for a surprise from me.

Mat reread the cards and looked up at the two fellow survivors, "Calliope? Mortimer?" Joey had no idea who would be sent and recommended to just try it and see.

MatPat: Now that we have the three Life Stones, we're able to use the Lazarus harp that brought me back from the dead to bring back fallen champions, also from the dead.

Ro ran over to the coffee table where Joey placed the harp vertically. She placed the stones that were in her hands in a triangle formation. Joey strummed the harp twice and it sparkled and a light triangle appeared connecting the stones.

Rosanna: All of a sudden, smoke appears, and everything starts going wild.

The room starts to shake as smoke bellows from the door and a blonde woman and Asian man walk out. "Wait, I saw you when I died." Mat pointed at the two as they walked in. Joey confirmed who they were before the woman spoke.

"You did the impossible like we knew you could, Joey. Now grab the Life Stones." she instructed. "It's time to finish what we started." the trio plus the S.A.E. members left the lounge.

Rosanna: I'm feeling very hopeful.
