Escape the Night: Season 3 (My Way + Self-Insert OC)

The Seven

The intro begins to play. The moon shines over a bird's eye view of the town. Teala and Nikita are shown tied to the merry-go-round as High Tower and Sally Slaughter are about to slam their weapons into them. JC is tied to a wonder wheel as the lead clown throws a knife narrowly missing him. MatPat is shown running from the funhouse before showing Roi narrowly missing being chomped by the jaws. Safiya and Manny are shown chained and trying to run from The Carnival Master, who holds their chains as the Demon Dog is by his side. Richard is shown in front of the graveyard holding a sharpened stick, Ro is then quickly shown running, this time the camera has zoomed out showing a chain-link cage in the background and she's holding a hand. The camera then pans to Joey, standing in the middle of the town handing the camera a ticket.

Escape The Night

"Okay, guys, we have one more artifact to go. We got this." Joey reminded the group, with an awoken Richard. "Yeah, one of us still has to die." Mat added, Richard looked to the floor as he said that. "I will say, I've been voted in two times, have been poisoned, got a short straw, gotten cursed, I mean, fate has it out for me! Don't be surprised if I'm the next on the kill count." Richard looked up, counting on his fingers before mumbling, "Hope it be worthy for a Golden Chainsaw."

Both Ro and Mat looked shocked and both tried to dissuade Richard from thinking he'd be next. Richard gave in and let them take this round, "Let's take a look at the map." Joey said to distract the group from Richard's... whatever that was. "Woah, that's a lot. To the table, you go!" Richard exclaimed as he took the map off and placed it on the table.

"Strange you'd ever forget the night" Mat read when Ro pointed at the map. "Wait, the symbols. That looks like the wicker man!" she exclaimed. Richard looked around to see a symbol for each artifact, "Wait, the church. That's new." he added. "12. 3. 6. 9. And then it all starts again." Joey read the message under the church.

"Wait, a clock! Those are the main four numbers!" Richard realized, "Wait, wait, wait, hold on! Look, look, look, look! There's something weird with the clock." Mat exclaimed, running down to the clock on the wall.

MatPat: There are these weird pieces attached to it. We pull the pieces off the clock, and we find a combination of the symbols that we're seeing on the map, as well as letters. We match up the symbols on these little pieces onto the map itself, and it changes what the center message reads.

"Arrange your seven to get the eighth." they all read the message before Richard looks back at the cubbies.

Joey: We realize that we have to rearrange the artifacts-

Rosanna: In the order the map is showing.

"Okay, the pyramid is up on top. And then the Statue of Era is... furthest right. Snake head is the lowest and the wicker man is under the doll." Ro gave directions as the three boys placed each artifact in the correct order. The table the map was on opened up, lifting the map and making it slide onto the floor, revealing a weird giant choker.

"God dammit! There's been four of these f*cking things in this room alone! The eyes, the statue, the swirl, and now this!" Richard ranted as Ro pulled the final artifact out. Joey pulled out the note, "The Collar of Control must be worn by one of you to begin the cleansing process. Choose wisely, as the collar cannot be removed without help."

Joey: This collar looks like it's made from skin. It has eyeballs, it has teeth. It is not cute.

MatPat: Any piece of clothing that's made of flesh and eyeballs, probably not a good thing.

"You must reattach the four metal rings to fully purify the collar." Joey finished the note.

MatPat: There are four metal rings that we're gonna need to cleanse this thing, so it looks like we got a long way to go before we're done with this final artifact.

"Put it on me." Richard decided immediately after Joey finished the note. Mat and Ro tried to object when Richard silenced them to explain. "You've died, you're still dead, this is called the Collar of Control, so I don't want Mrs. Cinnamon Roll over here doing things against her will. I'm wearing it."

Joey shrugged before grabbing the collar and Mat held up Richard's ponytail to let Joey put on the collar. "Just so you know, if I do anything that I wouldn't do to any of you or do any unfaithful shit, I'm being controlled, don't hold it against me." Richard clarified as Joey finished putting the collar on.

The collar lit up and almost soon after a weird Harley Quinn-looking cheerleader and her demonic creature waltzed into the lounge.

A/N: I'm going to skip up until when they get the collar off of Nikita in the original episode. I don't feel comfortable making my character do those things, so I'm just skipping it. Mat and Joey would still get locked in together and Ro would take Manny's place with the Demon Dog in the drugstore. Off to the first ring!
