Logan's Version (scene 11) - One sleeper hit wonder

The Hilson siblings are back to filming another classroom scene...
Zoey: (hands a lesson note to Logan) I need u to continue writing this for them. Got to use the restroom real quick.
Logan: In other words, abandon me?
Zoey: (shrugs) Yes [laugh track] (leaves briskly).
Logan: Fine (holding the note and a marker. while Zoey leaves) Alright, class. We'll be copying notes again, and I'll advise that we do not make noise.
Aloysius: Ooh, this is gonna be good
Logan: (continues) And be as quiet as possible (sees Ivan sleeping). Though not too quiet (taps Ivan). Yo, Ivan, wake up. It's time to write some notes.
Ivan: (sleepily yawns) Good morning, Mr Logan.
Logan: It's afternoon [laugh track], and u ve been asleep all day
Ivan: I was working all day yesterday
Logan: U don't work. You're 5
Ivan: That's not true. I work. A lot
Logan: (drawing lines on the board before facing Ivan) So what were u doing all day yesterday? Doing the laundry? Washing the dishes? Which of them?
Ivan: I also helped in my dad's garden.
Logan: (unmoved) Your dad doesn't have a garden.
Ivan: He does. It's in my room [brief laugh track].
Logan: (surprised, but chooses to ignore) This conversation is leading to nowhere
Ella: (muttering) Thank God you realize [brief laugh track]
Logan: Whatever happens, do not sleep
(Minutes later, Logan is done writing on the board. He calls out)
Logan: Ivan? (pause) Ivan!
Ella: (writing) Sleeping.
Logan: (Quickly turns around. He widens his eyes in surprise) Oh, not again [laugh track]. (He rushes to his seat and wakes him up) Move to Ella's seat at the front. You have a lot to explain. (Ivan reluctantly swaps seats with Ella and starts writing. Logan blinks his eyes twice and is shocked to see him sleeping almost immediately) Oh no, you won't [laugh track]
(It soon turns into a battle, and we hear competitive music play in the background. This time, Logan takes Ivan to Daniel's seat as a way to watch him better. But just as Logan sits down again, Ivan starts to doze off while writing as well, Logan shakes his head in disbelief. Then, finally, Ivan is taken back to his seat, and he starts to write once again. Laugh track continues throughout the scenes, until Logan sits again, heaving a sigh of relief) Dear God! [another laugh track]
Zoey: (walks in) I'm back (Logan goes to meet her in front of the class. However, Zoey pauses as she stares at something offscreen). Is Ivan asleep again on the table?
Logan: (looks away from Zoey and faces the table and widens his eyes in shock) How is that even possible?!!! [Laugh track] (Ivan is seen sleeping with books by his side, formed in a bed-like structure, and his head on a pillow, on the teacher's table, much to Logan's shock, covers his face in grief) How are you all kids? [another laugh track]. (Logan palms his face in frustration. Logan carries him up again and takes him to his seat)...

Later...
Logan: (talking to Ivan) I've had enough. Next time, go to bed early and never sleep in class again.
Ivan: (yawns) I'll try. But someone has to be sleeping in the class every time
Logan: Who told you that has to happen?
Ivan: My cousin. And he's always right.
Logan: He's never right [laugh track]. But it's still not a good idea (opens his book), and I must say your handwriting is pretty OK for a sleeper hit [brief laugh track]. However, it would have been clearer if u weren't sleeping
Ivan: (smiles) Oh, teacher, u will get used to the handwriting. I promise (walks away amidst laugh track. Soon, the school bell rings).
Zoey: (sighs in relief) I'm so glad today is over. The stress is awful.
Logan: Tell me about it. Aside from the fact that Ivan sleeps a lot, everyone else's surprises are actually bad surprises. No valuable life lesson was learned.
Zoey: (sarcastic) That's impressive [laugh track]
(Then, a brunnette woman, average in height, in her 40s, a crèche teacher, walks in)
Crèche teacher: (worried) Please, this will sound absurd. But I'm looking for one of the pillows I would have used for the babies today. And I was told it was here (Logan and Zoey look at each other in confusion)
Logan: (mutters) Pillow? (Realizes who took it and looks in Ivan's direction)
Ivan: (notices he's about to be caught, slings his school backpack over his shoulder) Adios! [Laugh track and applause] (He walks out of the classroom, much to their surprise, as the scene ends).
