Logan's Version 2 (scene 14) - Nigel Valentine

The scene opens with Zoey and Trevor sitting comfortably on the couch, watching TV. All of a sudden, an elated Nigel runs in through the front, dressed in a Cupid angel costume, startling the couple.
Nigel: Happy Valentine's Day! Let's go out and spread love to the world.
Zoey: (scoffs) I prefer when Jimmy Fallon said so two hours ago [brief laugh track].
Nigel: What's the difference?
Trevor: You broke, son. So it doesn't really matter [laugh track].
Logan: (suddenly rushes in excitedly with a basket of chocolate and candies) Who's ready for Valentine's Day? Cause I am, and I got a date [applause track]. Nigel, what are you supposed to be?
Zoey: (smirks) That's Cupid's sister, Kupida [laugh track].
Nigel: Hey, these clothes came with this free halo on my head. It ain't easy looking this angelic
Trevor: Sorry, but that ain't how a Nigel sounds [laugh track and applause].
Tracy: (walks into the house and glances at Nigel for a while) Logan, you didn't tell me you knew Kupida.
Zoey: But in a stupider outfit [laugh track]. (Everyone laughs at Nigel, who simply rolls his eyes) By the way, Logan, let's hope you don't get ghosted without realizing it early.
Logan: Come on, I was able to see through the last girl that ghosted me [brief laugh track].
Trevor: Well, Zoey and I are already going for ours soon.
Zoey: (smiles) And Anne will be visiting soon.
Logan: That's great. But I'm leaving now. And before I forget, Jesse is your problem now.
Zoey: How?
Jesse: (suddenly rushes in excitedly with a basket of chocolate and candies. He's also dressed in a Cupid costume) Who's ready for Valentine's Day? (He hugs Zoey, who is slightly startled at his hyperactivity) Cause I am! And we're going out for the special hangout, people! [laugh track] (to Zoey and Trevor) What do you think of my outfit?
Zoey: (worriedly) Logan?
Logan: Bye, girl! (He rushes out quickly) [brief laugh track].
Tracy: Usually, I would say something mean, but he's so adorable in the angel outfit.
Nigel: What about me? I didn't slay in this for nothing. (Kelsea comes out of the kitchen with Alfred, eating ice cream. She eyes her cousin and rolls her eyes).
Alfred: Is it just me, or is the ice cream making me see Cupid in the flesh? And not the good kind? [brief laugh track]
Kelsea: Nigel, I told you not to wear the Kupida costume.
Nigel: You know what? It's fine. I'll find something else. (As he finishes speaking, Anne opens the front door and walks in)
Anne: What's up, fam? [applause track]
Zoey: Oh my God, so happy to meet you (hugs Anne).
Tracy: Welcome back. And Happy Valentine's Day!
Anne: Same to you. (turns to Trevor and smirks) Someone's taking my best friend out on a date. You better treat her nice, or I'll turn you into a permanent ice sculpture [laugh track].
Trevor: Of course, I will.
Anne: (glances at Nigel) And who's the brunette guy with the Kupida costume? [brief laugh track]
Nigel: Yeah, I get it. OK, Jeez. (He goes to Logan's room).
Zoey: Well, we have to go out now, but I can assure you, we'll catch up on all the drama we both missed.
Jesse: (he freezes in a trance and stares into space. The camera does a close-up of his left eye, followed by a speeding green wave of light. The vision opens to show Trevor with a brunette lady about average height).
[Trevor: So happy I ran into you, and getting out of my date with Zoey].
(The vision quickly closes, followed by the speeding green light and a close-up of his eye, and finally, his face. Jesse quickly regains consciousness but has a worried look on his face. By now, Nigel has changed into a brown T-shirt and black sweatpants. Zoey and Trevor have gone on their date, while Anne and Tracy are discussing. Jesse runs toward Nigel).
Jesse: Mr Nigel, I need your help. I saw something and it's not good. Trevor is meeting someone else, aside from Miss Zoey. We have to do something.
Nigel: Are you sure about this?
Jesse: (nods) Yes. We have to go quickly (the two turn around only to see Anne and Tracy right in front of them). Oh, shoot! [laugh track]
Anne: Where are you going?
Nigel: (hesitates, but quickly answers) Well, I have to go for a quick stroll with Jesse and, um - (Kelsea walks in immediately) my sweet sister, Kelsea.
Kelsea: (raises eyebrow) Sweet sister? Something's up [brief laugh track].
Jesse: (turns to Anne) Trevor is going to cheat on Miss Zoey. I saw it in my vision.
Anne: (shocked) What? I can't believe Trevor would do something stupid. We're all going to the Lovely Place restaurant you mentioned to stop this abomination.
Tracy: As her best friend, you have to do something quickly. Alfred and I have to go back home for our Love's Giving dinner.
Alfred: (walks in) Yes, people. It's a thing [brief laugh track].
Tracy: Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to do some emergency shopping at Logan's Kitchen. (Tracy and Alfred strut confidently into the kitchen, to which everyone gives them annoyed looks) [brief laugh track]...
