The scene opens with Jesse, Tracy, Logan, Kelsea, Lincoln, Armanie, and Simran sitting apart from each other in the living room. They're all scrolling on their phones.
Armanie: It's surprising how not being social with one another is legalised thanks to the pandemic.
Kelsea: It's not that bad, Mr. Ruiz.
Simran: Yeah. At least, we're happy to be together (she hugs Armanie)
Jesse: Some of us more than others [brief laugh track]
Lincoln: True. (Everyone resumes scrolling on their phones. All of a sudden, a cough is heard. They all stop using their phones and start to glance at one another in uncertainty and fear. Yes, they're already sitting apart. But they drift apart further, and they stand up one after the other) [laugh track]
Kelsea: (quietly) Who coughed?
Logan: It wasn't me. (turns to Tracy) Tracy?
Tracy: I've never coughed before in my life. (Everyone sharply faces her with deadly glares) [laugh track]. Fine, it was me. What happens now?
Armanie: Simran?
Simran: Got it! (She wears a face mask, brings out a long bottle of perfume and sprays around the living room dramatically and severally. Soon enough, she stops. removes the mask and smiles proudly) I always find a way to save the day.
Everyone: Yes, you do [laugh track]
Logan: New rule! No one coughs again in this house. And no one comes in or goes out today for any reason. We can't risk having a cough flying around.
Armanie: You heard him, you all. Only my brother is allowed to visit us today.
Tracy: Armanie, you didn't tell us earlier that Camillo is visiting today.
Lincoln: Miss Tracy, he just told us now [laugh track]. (Before Logan can respond to the unexpected announcement, the doorbell rings. Logan glares at Armanie as he goes to open the door)
Logan: Why do you all invite your guests to my house?
Armanie: Why do you think you're the centre of attention? [laugh track] (He opens the door, and there is Camillo, caramel blond hair with an athletic build, in blue, long-sleeves and cargo pants, and a brunette girl about Jesse's age, in a green dress. The girl seems to resemble Camillo, and it's assumed she's his daughter. The two are also wearing surgical face masks)
Camillo: (with a slightly Mexican accent) I know what you're thinking. Yup, she's my daughter, Vivian.
Jesse: (emerges from behind Logan and smiling widely) And I'm Jesse, your future boyfriend [laugh track]. (He winks at Vivian, who smiles back at him. Logan rolls his eyes and lets them in while giving Jesse a dismayed look)
Logan: Camillo, you're more than not welcome to be here. Next time you're visiting, be at Armanie's place.
Camillo: I came over cause Armanie said you are searching for a new manager and a new movie audition.
Logan: (suddenly grins) Have a seat, Mr Ruiz, sir. What would you like, tea or Cola? [brief laugh track]
Tracy: (confused) Why are you looking for a new manager? I didn't quit my job
Logan: Yeah, but you quit anything related to your job that I tell you about [laugh track]
Vivian: (to Jesse) I think you're very cool.
Jesse: And I think you're really pretty. (Kelsea and Lincoln grimace) Let's go hang out in my room, I've got a lot of cool stuff to do. And I'm famous.
Kelsea: You mean our room?
Jesse: Oh, yeah, I forgot you live here now [laugh track]. (Jesse, Vivian, Kelsea, and Lincoln exit from the living room. Armanie and Simran head towards the front door)
Armanie: Now that I brought my brother here, Simran and I have to leave. We're going out to celebrate a 7 month anniversary
Tracy: Armanie, we're on lockdown. Not many places are open
Simran: We're going out of your house to celebrate. (She whispers to Armanie but talks audibly enough for Logan, Tracy, and Camillo to hear) And people wonder why they continue to fail their English classes [laugh track]. (The two leave the house. Tracy turns her glare towards Simran to Camillo, who simply shrugs)
Camillo: I wouldn't fight her if I were you. You could use her help someday to annoy Logan.
Tracy: The glare is for you, Camillo Ruins Everything [laugh track]
Logan: So why should I hire you to be my manager?
Camillo: When you hire me, I'll make sure to clear and book your schedules on time and out of time. And don't forget the meet and greets and auditions, and all the roles I can back talk people into giving you.
Tracy: I do the same thing properly, Americano [laugh track]
Camillo: (convincingly) No need to say Americano like that, I could fire you for that.
Logan: Wait! That's my line! [brief laugh track]
Camillo: (grins at Logan) Remember, William. I'll do all these and more when you hire me. I said when, not if [laugh track]
Logan: (glaring at Camillo's audacity) Do you want the job or not?
Camillo: (overconfidently) You don't have a choice but to give me the job.
Logan: (taken back in surprise) With this attitude? No, thanks. I think I'm fine with Tracy.
Camillo: (nonchalantly) William, the attitude comes for free [laugh track]
Tracy: (triumphantly) I told you he prefers me to you [laugh track]
Logan: OK, let me be clear. I need two of you to do everything you can to help me get movie roles. Tracy has worked with Zoey and already knows her way around the entertainment -
Camillo: (interrupts) Sorry, who's Zoey?
Logan: Zoey Hilson, my sister.
Camillo: You have a sister?
Logan: (surprised)Yeah, I do. Wait, how do you not know my sister?
Tracy: She's more famous than he is. How do you know him better? [brief laugh track]
Camillo: (stutters) Umm, well, I'm kind of a fan. Something like, like that. But
Tracy: (smirks) What happened to the confidence you had 20 seconds ago? Did Logan intimidate you somehow? It must be the sudden muscles cause as a fan, he's always been skinnier than a broomstick [laugh track]
Logan: Yeah, very helpful, Tracy Morrison. (hesitates) This is a bit odd and surprising. But I guess you're hired - by default [brief laugh track].
Camillo: (slowly smiles) Thanks, William. (He clears his throat to regain composure, then talks in a baritone voice) I mean, thanks, Willy.
Logan: No one calls me Willy.
Camillo: I do now. Live with it
Logan: (shrugs) OK, you can start tomorrow. And I need to get some fresh air. This interview is a bit too weird, even for me [laugh track] (He leaves Tracy and Camillo and walks out of the house. As soon as he closes the door, Tracy smirks at Camillo, who maintains a straight face)
Camillo: (confidently) I know we have to share our client, but just know I'm still better than you
Tracy: Oh, Camillo. We both know you want Logan to be your client in more than one way [brief laugh track]. (She stands up and seems to be moving to the kitchen, but pauses and faces Camillo again. Then she adds) Good luck, Camillo [another laugh track] (Camillo stares at Tracy for a while. Then he shrugs and smiles to himself)
Camillo: Works like a charm [brief laugh track] (The scene ends as he relaxes on the couch).
