Logan's Version (scene 20) - Scene Finales Be Like...

Jesse is sitting on the living room couch, reading a random storybook. However, it is revealed that Michael, Drea, and Danny are patiently staring at him for some reason. [laugh track]
Drea: Any moment.
Jesse: Your staring is weird [laugh track].
Danny: Michael, you said Jesse can see the future now.
Michael: He can. I don't know what's taking so long.
Drea: Can't you make your eyes green like Michael said?
Jesse: (rolls his eyes) It doesn't work that way
Michael: (jumps up) Yes! He rolled his eyes! That means he's about to do it! [laugh track]
Zoey: (walks in with Tracy into the living room. Zoey is dressed in a flowing black-and-blue gown and black heels) Three of you, quit disturbing Jesse. We should let him have his peace and quiet (Michael, Drea, and Danny groan in frustration).
Jesse: (sits up) Thanks, Miss Zoey. I've been telling them that all day.
Tracy: The poor guy is stressed. Give him some room.
Zoey: Yes. (She rearranges her wig) But Jesse, be honest. Tell me if you saw me winning any Emmy award tonight. I need to look cool and presentable when I'm receiving it.
Jesse: (in mock fright) Oh no. [laugh track]
Zoey: (widens eyes) Oh, no? Is it my make-up?  Is it the hair? (Gasps) I didn't get any?! Did Kendra rig the show again?!
Logan: (walks in from the kitchen, dressed in a black tuxedo) No, he means, "Oh, no," as in, "Oh, no, Zoey's crazy about another award show!" [laugh track]
Zoey: (rolls her eyes) That is not true.
Anne: (Opens the front door and walks in) Zoey, there are children in the house. Don't tell lies [laugh track].
Logan: Tracy, I asked you to lock the door when coming in.
Tracy: Oh, I thought you meant the kitchen door. When I come INTO the kitchen.
Zoey: That explains why we ran out of ribs this morning [laugh track].
Logan: Can we just get going already?
Jesse: (he stares straight ahead, frozen in a trance-like state. His right pupil suddenly glows green. The camera does a close-up of this eye, followed by a speeding green wave of light. The wave opens to show Logan raising his head from his phone)
[Logan: We can't tell Jesse about this just yet. He'll be bummed].
(The vision quickly closee followed by the green wave, which finally disappears. Jesse's face is finally shown, and he looks confused).
Jesse: (to himself) What does Liam know about me?
Tracy: (looks at Jesse briefly and seems to remember something) What of Jesse? Did you tell his parents about his vision thingy?
Zoey: (exhales) We did. But they were so worried, we almost got fired.
Logan: It was obviously an accident.
Zoey: An accident that could've been avoided if you had listened to instructions. They were very clear we do not take him in public.
Logan: Excuse me for caring about a child I taught a year ago and not wanting to leave him with Mikey, who was nowhere to be found.
Zoey: (scoffs) So being responsible is a bad thing?
Logan: No, thinking I'm always irresponsible IS a bad thing.
Jesse: (holds Tracy tightly and whispers) Is it my fault Liam is upset?
Tracy: No, Jesse. It's not about you. It's just siblings fighting.
Danny: That looks much like your fault
Tracy: (glares at Danny) Danny Potter, I will wish you into oblivion if you don't shut it [laugh track].
Anne: (notices the tension between the siblings and the looks of fear on the children's faces. She decides to resolve the matter) Look, you shouldn't be arguing about this. Especially on an award night. It's all in the past.
Tracy: (exhales) It's already happened. Jesse's got visions now, and it's the coolest thing in the world. Can we please let go now? (Logan and Zoey calm down for a while after the former glances at a sad Jesse).
Logan: What are we doing? It's my sister's award night, and I'm doing the Logan thing again.
Zoey: (chuckles) Yes, you're doing so. And we should be in high spirits instead. (Grabs her purse) Just not too high [laugh track]
Jesse: (Runs to hug Logan and Zoey) Don't stay too long, Liam.
Logan: I won't, big guy (Michael, Danny & Drea follow suit and hug their babysitters. Soon, someone knocks on the doorbell. Logan opens it, and it turns out to be Trevor, dressed in a blue tuxedo).
Trevor: (smiles at everyone) Hey, Logan. Looking sharp. (walks toward Zoey) And you look stunning, as always.
Zoey: Thank you, Trevor Hart, my officially official boyfriend.
Logan: Woah. I thought y'all were keeping it on the low.
Trevor: No, we've been internet official for 2 weeks.
Zoey: (confused) How did you not know this? I told you the other day when you were listening to - (realizes)
Everyone: Harry Styles [laugh track].
Logan: (hesitates, then defends himself) I'm sorry for being a Harry fan. You're welcome [laugh track].
Trevor: Well, shall we leave now? Mikey is waiting outside in the car. (Everyone stops in their tracks and everywhere becomes silent) [laugh track]. (Trevor feels the intensity of the cold glares and clears his throat. He squeaks) It was a joke.
Zoey: Oh, it better be a joke [laugh track].
Trevor: Shall we? (Logan, Zoey, Trevor, and Anne move outside, leaving Tracy with the kids)...
Later...
(Tracy is resting in the living room, with Jesse and Michael sleeping soundly beside her. She struggles to stay awake, watching the TV, but is too tired to do so. Luckily, the doorbell rings, and when she goes to open the door, she sees Trevor, Logan, and Zoey worn out and exhausted but seemingly in a good mood).
Tracy: Welcome home, guys. Y'all look like you were the awards stuffed and handled around by unwashed sock puppets [laugh track].
Logan: (wonders) I never really thought of it that way. (looks at the sleeping boys) Where are Danny and Drea?
Tracy: Their parents took them home.
Zoey: Anyway, I won one of those awards tonight. "Best Actress in a Lead Role" thanks to the Crazy Things movie we starred in some time ago.
Trevor: And she was CRAZY excited on stage! [laugh track] But I'm still happy for her, nevertheless. (hugs Zoey)
Zoey: Awwwn. Thanks, babe (hugs Trevor back).
Logan/Tracy: Yuck. [Laugh track]
Logan: (turns to Tracy) Did Jesse have any visions today? Good or bad?
Tracy: Nah, but his eye did glow.
Logan: Which means he still has them. (looks at Jesse, who is starting to awaken) I still feel stupid for causing this. I ruined a kid's life.
Tracy: (puts hand on Logan's shoulder) No, you made it cooler, sorta. But at the same time, yeah, you are actually quite stupid [laugh track].
Logan: (sarcastic) Wow, so comforting [Another laugh track]. (Michael and Jesse
Jesse: (happily runs to Logan) Liam?!
Logan: (carries him) Big guy! How was your day?
Jesse: (hesitates) It was fine. (smiles nervously)
Michael: (walks to Zoey) Welcome home, Miss Zoey. Where's our award?
Zoey: You mean MY award.
Michael: No, I mean OUR. I helped you in the days of your early beginnings. Like the time we were watching Mr. Logan's boring comedy show on TV [laugh track].
Tracy: Hey, I saw that once. I could not believe that even aired.
Logan: Yeah. Now I think about it, it's a good thing it got cancelled. It's my stand-up show, and I would've done the same if I were the TV broadcast company. (Everyone laughs at the joke).
Zoey: The one time you're actually being funny. Someone worked on their comedy skills [laugh track]. (Suddenly, Logan gets a notification on his phone)
Logan: Hey, Mikey sent a voice note. (Everyone gathers around Logan to listen to the audio, including Jesse and Michael).
Mikey: (on VN) Hey, wassup? Congrats in advance to you, both on winning an award tonight. Especially Zoey (Logan rolls his eyes). Don't roll your eyes, Logan. I can see you [laugh track]. I have great news for everyone. I mentioned I was moving to LA for a driver role. But now, I have got a big movie project as well, and I even have the opportunity to drive a couple of well-known stars around shows and movie shoots. (Everyone freezes in silence, thanks to the last sentence mentioned) Why are y'all silent? [laugh track] (Logan closes voice note).
Tracy: Star Driver?! Good thing we broke off before it was too late [laugh track]
Zoey: But who knows? It might not be so bad.
Trevor: I wouldn't really say "so good" either.
Logan: Wait till he says "Eazy," and Chris Pratt thinks they're still acting. Then, he realizes there is no set, but he is "set" for a bumpy ride [laugh track].
Zoey: (her phone dings. She brings it out to read the text sent to her inbox and widens her eyes in shock). Um, Logan? You need to see this.
Logan: (looks at Zoey's phone to read the text, along with Tracy and Trevor. The four are stunned at what they just read). We can't tell Jesse about this just yet. He'll be bummed.
Michael: (staring at Jesse) Everyone, Jesse's eye is doing that thing again - and it's SO cool [laugh track]. (Everyone turns to look at Jesse)
Logan/Zoey: (worried) Oh, no. (Jesse is oblivious to everyone's worried reaction, even as his right iris glows green - implying he's about to have a vision. Logan and Zoey look at each other, hoping that he won't have a vision based on what they just read on the latter's phone. The scene sharply cuts to black).
