Amira's Pov

This is so frustrating trying to find clothes to wear. It's the third day of school, and I don't even want to go because it's only the third day since the start of school. but I need to go, especially now that we're scheduled to perform at the University as a welcome for the freshman students.

Our performance will be start later at 4 pm, but of course, we need to practice and check the equipment we will be using. I have a band, and there are three of us in it. The name of our band is Cugino V., which stands for Cousin Valentine because we are the only members of this band who are cousins, hahaha. That was the case when we were in high school, and it continued like that until we went to college.

I am the lead vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist, while Jade is a vocalist and lead guitarist, and lastly, Iris is the drummer and vocalist.

I couldn't think of anything to wear, so I just took the red dress that was backless above the knee, a crop top leather jacket, and black knee-high boots. Then, I just put on light makeup, and I was done. Thank you sa genes ng parents ko at wala na akong dapat pang ilagay sa muka ko.

I even saw Mommy and Daddy in the living room, and they were talking to my brother. We are the only two siblings, and I am the youngest. They saw me coming down the stairs, so my brother met me and supported me as I went down.

What a sweet creature haha.

"What kind of clothes are those, Amira? It's so short" He narrowed his eyes at me as he helped me down, while Mommy and Daddy were smiling and looking at us.

"Jez. Kuya! It's the 21st century. So chill, okay? Besides, I'm 21, amp. I'm not a baby anymore," I told him while pouting and kissing him on the cheek.

Then, I approached Mommy and Daddy and kissed them on the cheek. "Mommy, I'm wearing it nicely, right? It suits me?" I asked at umikot sa harap nila.

"Yes, honey, you look good in what you're wearing," Mommy said, and Daddy gave me a thumbs up.

"Kuya?" tawag na pa tanong ko kay Kuya. Apaka protective kasi niya sa akin. Hindi lang naman sa akin pati na din sa iba naming pinsang babae.

"You look great bunso" At naka ngiti na siya sa akin.

"I know right" Sabay kindat sa kanya.

"Hello Jade, where are you and Iris? I thought we should be at Vee Cafe at 10 am," I said to Jade, who was on the other line.

We talked about having brunch here at Ate Elle's Cafe (Iris's sister) since it's close to the University and it's also within walking distance.

"Mira." My cousin called me in her cold voice, as icy. We just kissed our cheeks, and she sat down in front of me.

"Hey Jade, what's up? Iris is here!" I yelled on the other line. I don't want to be kept waiting for a long time. I only have to wait for 10 minutes, and I will be bored immediately, like wasting time.

"Chill, Mommy. I'm almost there, let me park my car. You and Iris can order—it's my treat since I was the last to arrive. Hahaha."

I just rolled my eyes at the back of my mind. "Let's order Iris and Jade will treat us since she's late," I told her while checking the menu. What can be good to eat? It seems like everything on the menu at ate Elle Cafe is delicious. I'll even ruin my diet here.
