(Chapter 32)/The Three Brothers In Arms

Vanguard Base, Carway:

In the Alpha Quarters, the team was busy doing their own things, with the twins having left just under half an hour ago. Inside Zero's room, both Zero and Chloe were snuggling together, with Chloe holding him like a teddy bear while laying on top of him. Despite the two tons of Anthro feline body on him, Zero was very much enjoying the feeling of her laying on top of him.

Both were out of armor and in their undergarments, the bed having no covers since Chloe preferred the warmth of Zero's embrace now. Suddenly, a quick and loud ring went off in the room, causing both to wake up begrudgingly. After waking up, Chloe looked down at Zero, and the latter looked up at the former, and they both smiled, forgetting about the alarm. Opening her mouth, Chloe let out a yawn before placing her hand on Zero's cheeks and asking,

Chloe: "Good morning Zero, how did you sleep?"

Zero (sincerely): "Like I was in heaven, you?"

Chloe: "Wonderfully, any broken bones this time?"

Zero (feels his body, and bone snapping back into place): "Just a rib this time."

Chloe (slight chuckle, her tail swaying back and forth behind her): "You're becoming more durable to my size."

Zero (forced laugh): "Most of my body anyway, my pelvis still needs work."

Chloe (leans down and purrs): "As much as I'd like to help with that, it's best to keep it the way we did it the first time."

After saying that, she closed the remaining distance and claimed Zero's lips in hers, her tongue sliding though his lips and exploring his mouth, tasting him. However, before more passion could ensue, another loud ring went off in the room, causing Chloe to lean back up and perk her ears up, looking around for whatever made that noise. Zero sat up and looked in the direction of the ringing, seeing that his helmet on the table was illuminating light from the inside, a signal that someone was trying to contact him.

Sighing, he swung his legs off the bed and got up, giving Chloe a quick kiss to her cheek before saying,

Zero: "Sorry, someone's trying to call my ass."

Chloe (relaxes and chuckles): "Alright Zero, I'll need to get dressed anyway."

After saying that, she got up from the bed and stretched her long, athletic body, her abs reflecting the light as her feline grace was on display. Afterwards, she started walking away, giving Zero one last look before leaving the room, heading to her own. Zero felt touched by this before he turned to grab his helmet. Putting it on, he said,

Zero: "Hey Orion, who's attempting to contact me?"

Orion: "It appears that the caller ID belongs to your friend, Igor."

Zero (slightly surprised, but overall glad): "Shit, Igor? Put him on."

Without answering, Orion accepted and helped process the call between Zero and Igor, with a small screen appearing on Zero's top right vision in his helmet, showing both Igor and Kagiso in a luxury apartment of an aircraft. After the call was accepted, Igor spoke first, saying,

Igor (coms): "Zero, our brother, how have you been since we last saw you?"

Zero (stretches): "Great, more than great, just woke up after sleeping with my Mate."

Kagiso (surprised): "Wait, you and Chloe are actually dating? I thought those four that came to visit me and my wife were joking about that."

Zero (shakes his head): "Nope, no joke, Chloe and I are very much dating and very much sleeping together."
