Chloe's POV:
April 30th, 2093, 05:00:
Vanguard Base, Carway:

Inside a side room of one of Vanguard bases interrogation rooms, I looked out the one-way mirror to see someone I hadn't expected to find for a while. Inside the room was two Alliance interrogators, a human and a Barn Owl Anthro, and Sophia Bologna, the human woman I fought over Zero half a year ago. I was surprised that not only she was alive, but she was with the CICWA, and we fought her a few times already.

The Alliance Interrogators were getting nowhere, with Sophia refusing to answer either of them. In this room was Commander Bailey and Dr. Lesley, the former for more physical interrogation and the latter to heal the wounds afterwards. The reason my sister wasn't here was because she was giving Zero a 'talk' since he left to a warzone, even though he had direct orders to not fight.

Still, even though he disobeyed orders, I had a feeling from that call yesterday that Zero was going to do something reckless. That's simply who he is, he'll help his friends out whenever possible, whether he's ordered to, or not. Looking at Bologna, I started wondering what went through Zero's head to bring her here after he, Kagiso, and Igor captured her. Speaking of the other two, I wonder where they are, they're still here last I checked.

Almost as if timed, the door to the room I'm in opened, causing me to turn to see my sister, Zero, Kagiso, and Igor. Looking at Helena, Kagiso, and Igor, I saluted the former and nodded at the other two after I was at ease. Looking at Zero though, he rubbed the back of his helmet and quietly chuckled, waving at me with a low hand. I did nothing, said nothing, just stared at him for a moment before turning to Helena, asking,

Chloe: "What's the plan for her interrogation?"

Instead of answering immediately, she walked over to the glass and looked in, seeing that the Alliance Interrogators were at their limits with her. After a moment, she turned back to me and said,

Helena: "We'll have to do this ourselves, (looks through the glass) Kagiso, Igor, you two may attempt to interrogate her, if you want."

Kagiso (turns to Igor): "Shall we?"

Igor (nods and walks to the exit): "Yep, let's interrogate, good cop, bad cop?"

Kagiso: "Eh, too overused."

Igor: "We'll figure something out."

Afterwards, they both left the room, closing the door behind them, leaving us five in here. Looking back at Helena, I saw that she was beginning to order them other two Alliance interrogators out. Turning to Commander Bailey and Dr. Lesley, they were both discussing ways on getting Sophia to talk and making sure she would still be okay medically respectively. Yet, when I landed my eyes on Zero, he was looking down shamefully, unable to make eye-contact with me.

Walking over to him, I sat down beside him on the bench he was sitting on, leaning down to look at him better. As I stared at the front of his helmet to the side, I said calmly,

Chloe: "Zero, I'm not mad or upset with you, I'm just glad you're okay and you made it back."

Zero (nod): "Yeah, thanks Chloe, I'm sorry about ditching you so suddenly after we just woke up, but I didn't want to leave my friends alone to CICWA."

Chloe (places her hand on his shoulder): "I can respect that Zero, believe me, I know you'd face the entire war by yourself if you could, but next time, please tell me before you run off into a firefight."

Zero (nods and looks at her): "Alright Chloe, I'll tell you, just don't expect much left when you manage to catch up."

I smiled underneath my helmet and nodded, glad that he was already feeling better after talking with me. Afterwards, I started wondering about Zero's AI, and asked,
