Chloe's POV:
May 6th, 2093, 11:09:
C.A. Mining Facility, located at what originally used to be Flin Flon, Manitoba:

At a Mining Facility within Canada, the Alliance was expanding it's reach within C.A. territory while also taking vital resources from them. As such, they called Helena to send the Alpha Team to the Frontlines to help with this assault, since Cyborgs were supposed to be here. How were they able to make so many more Cyborgs, and if they already had them, why deploy them now and not sooner?

Could it be that doing it now was faster than they wanted to, an act of desperation to defend their interests? Whatever it might be, we have a load of problems to deal with. Especially with the two new Cyborgs in play, who are apparently liquid metal compared to the rest of the Cyborgs. Like Huntress and her Pack, they have powers, but both females have, from what Via and Zero reported, the powers over Light and Dark.

From what I also understand, they easily subdued Zero twice before trapping him against a wall. Zero even stated that the black one, who was called Nabiki, I believe, managed to sneak up directly behind him. Zero's sixth sense is unnaturally honed, and he can react to unseen threats quickly, so it makes the report of her Dark Powers more logical, since she wouldn't have sneaked up behind Zero otherwise.

Speaking of who, Zero was currently in the cockpit of the pelican that was just repaired, along with our new pilot. From what I understand, this pilot is a talented one from the Air Force division, so we'll have to wait and see what'll happen. After a moment, bullets started ricocheting off the outer plating of the pelican, indicating that we were close. As the rest of the team and I started getting ready, Zero came walking out of the cockpit, walking over to his seat next to Mariana before grabbing his DMR.

As he began examining it, he seemed a bit distracted, his movement showing signs of unconscious decisions. He told me and Helena about that world he went to, and the poison that was inflicted upon him. He must be worried about if that poison was mass-produced or something and it could be used on him again, or me. I don't know much about the CICWA to give a straight answer, what I can say is that Zero held his ground against them.

Speaking of that other world, I still hold my wariness with making alliances with interdimensional organizations, or groups. Outside Zero, we don't have a stable way of going to and from other worlds and dimensions, and we don't know much about 'The Hounds' to offer any forms of alliances. Besides that, Zero did state they were synthetics with a hive mind intelligence, while also maintaining individual autonomy. The only reason I'm wary rather then suspicious is because of The Hounds protection of civilians, who were just humans.

I did ask at one point if that was his world, but he only shook his head, so I never really bothered thinking of that other world. Anyways, that's enough about what's happened, now, we need to face the C.A. at this Mining Facility. The pelican then felt like it slowed down before a slight jolt shook the hold, indicating it landed. Afterwards, the lights turned red before the pilot said,

Pelican Pilot: "Alright, we're here, it's very hot out there, opening the ramp."

After he said that, the ramp began descending, and the gunfire became clearer as it opened. Once it fully lowered, I immediately saw Alliance soldiers moving to the left as gunfire flew at them, indicating that our target was to the left. Getting off my seat, I took out my assault rifle and began running out, with everyone else soon following behind me. After we got out, I looked left and saw the gunfire of turrets flying towards the Alliance soldiers attempting to push to the Mining Facility.

We kept running till we got into a recently formed trench, ducking down behind it as bullets flew over us. Peeking over cover, I narrowed my eyes and saw the turrets were managed by C.A. soldiers while the gate was being guarded by Cyborgs, who cut down any Alliance soldiers lucky enough to make it past the turrets. Looking further from my position, I noticed Huntress at the top of one of the buildings, overseeing everything, along with those two new Cyborgs.
