Huntress's POV:
May 11th, 2093, 07:00:
Primary C.A. Base, Canada:
Walking through the halls of the base, I was starting to get worried about one of my sisters, Swift. It's been over three days since she was last seen, and she has never been unable to contact us before, and that's not all. Even though those specialists and Operators say they are looking for her, I know for a fact they aren't making a check for her signal or any communications for her. They seemed to forget that I can read their minds, so they were more open with their thoughts.
From what I heard, they all started thinking about when the twins, Sayaka and Nabiki, would take over The Pack from me. Why do they expect those two to take over my Pack, I am still alive and am unwilling to give them the position unless ordered. Still though, it makes me wonder about whether or not Deinos is still the wrong one here, he decided to leave this place because he believed that we were nothing more than a template.
I'm starting to think there was more than just merit behind his words, especially now with all that's happening. Reaching to Command Center, I found my master, Sayaka, Nabiki, and that Mercenary Leader, Mistress, discussing something while looking at the center console in the center of the room. As I got closer, Mistress looked up from the group before she cleared her throat, saying before walking away,
Mistress: "We will discuss more on that later, goodbye."
After she left, I turned back to the other three, who were distracted on the console, but the background seemed to have changed. Are they hiding something from me? As I thought of this question, my master asked me,
Alias Wolf: "Yes Huntress? Do you require something?"
Huntress (nods): "I wish to begin my own investigation into Swift's disappearance."
After I said that, the entire room went silent for a moment before the sound of typing continued, but I started feeling the sense of dread from the operators in the room. Both Nabiki and Sayaka turned to each other for a moment before turning around and facing me, with Sayaka saying,
Sayaka: "Huntress, do not waste time that these specialists can use while you focus on growing stronger."
Nabiki (nods): "Agreed, for all we know, she could very well be a traitor from the amount of time she has been silent, unwilling to give her own location."
Swift is anything but a traitor, slightly...unique, yes, but under no circumstances a traitor, and I refuse to have her name be slanted like this. Putting my hands behind my back, I opened my right hand and began controlling the mind of a weak-willed C.A. operator before making him actually try to find Swift. As I did, I decided to talk to keep them from growing suspicious,
Huntress: "You assume wrong, I know Swift, as you two should've as well, and she, out of all of us, would never outright betray us like this."
Nabiki (narrows her eyes): "That makes you sound as though you are an accomplice to her."
Huntress (slightly annoyed): "Accomplice? I'm her sister, as we are all family in The Pack."
Sayaka (scoffs): "Family? Don't be ridiculous, we are all weapons to be used against the Alliance and Humanity, don't downgrade us to their level."
These two would be the only ones I would kill by my own hands if I could, unfortunately, not only would they defeat me, but we are C.A. Cyborgs, so I can't attack them without orders. Thankfully, while doing that short talk with them, I finally got that operative to locate Swift's signal. Using my Mind Reading ability, I was shocked to see that her signal was in the Eastern Continents, specifically, in a Desert East of the ruins of the Human City called Jerusalem.
