Third person POV:
April 23rd, 2093, 00:00:
Kiribati, Center of the Pacific Ocean:

On the island of Kiribati, the atmosphere was mostly peaceful, with trees flourishing, bugs buzzing, and a light blue beacon was shooting out into the sky. On a line of black overlooking the ocean from one side and the inner lagoon on the inside, the sound of swords clashing was heard. In the inner lagoon, the beacon was shooting up from the dead center of it, remaining like that.

On that line of beach, two familiar, yet mysterious, figures were fighting it out in a close quarters battle. Both of these figures, both family in many ways, were none other then the Darkness and the Executioner. Both were too engrossed in their fighting to even notice the beacon that was right by them, both intending to take the other out.

The Darkness and the Executioner were both swinging their swords with grace and technique, but the Executioner was stronger while the Darkness was faster. Eventually, as both of their swords struck again, it sent a shockwave powerful enough to send both flying away from each other. This only lasted a few feet before both landed on their feet, staring each other down.

Then, they both began circling each other, ignoring the beacon as the Darkness said,

Darkness: "You've gotten stronger since our last encounter, brother, have you been fighting Zero lately?"

Executioner: "I have, and I underestimated his Ultimate Form, a mistake that shall not happen twice. You, however, have gotten weaker, how would those you call friends feel about that?"

Darkness: "It wouldn't matter; besides, I'd rather have this then spend another few decades without fighting you brother, shall we continue?"

Executioner (nods): "Let's, I hate to keep you waiting from your demise."

Afterwards, they both ran up to each other, with the Darkness swinging his sword downwards while the Executioner was swinging his sword upwards. As both collided, another shockwave left it, but instead of sending them both flying, it created a visible circular explosion leaving the attack. A line formed on the sand and water beneath and around them, which closed just as quickly as it came.

Then, the Executioner headbutts the Darkness in the face, causing him to stagger back. Afterwards, the Executioner ran forward and punched him in the face, followed by hitting him with the pummel of his sword, causing the Darkness to grunt as he stepped back another step. Just as the Executioner raised his sword, the Darkness jumped in the air and dropkicked him in the chest, sending him flying back, landing on the sand afterwards and dragging for a moment.

Taking advantage of this, the Darkness rushed forward and began slashing his sword back and forth, hitting the Executioners armor and chipping it away. Yet, just as the Darkness was about to slice off his arm, the Executioner quickly raised his sword and blocked the attack, raising his left foot and kicking the Darkness away afterwards. As the Darkness stumbled, the Executioner began swinging his blade against him, sending him into the air after a few swings.

As he was in the air, the Executioner jumped up and swung his sword around, hitting the Darkness in the back and sending him crashing on the sand. After landing on his feet, the Executioner looked back at his brother, only to see the Darkness standing back up and facing him with a defensive position. He then raised his sword as well and ran up to the Darkness, who did the same in turn. However, just as they were both about to swing, a giant explosion left the base of the beacon, causing both of them to stop and look at the beacon for the first time.

As they looked, a giant, blue portal began forming open, eventually engulfing the lagoon and evaporating all the water in it. Then, as they both stared, the sound of multiple dings were heard, followed by the Darkness saying,
