(A/N: Yeah, I know what you're thinking, so let me explain. I've recently watched the third season of Beastars on Netflix (not a manga reader BTW) and was kind of disappointed with the ending. While I'm hearing that a part 2 of Season 3 may be released, I am not waiting.

So, just for insurance, this chapter contains heavy spoilers for Beastars, especially towards Season 3, so I recommend watching it, otherwise, you've been warned.

Finally, I know this isn't something connected towards to story of War for Change in any way (besides the furry aspect, obviously), I just want to give my take on the ending and improve it. So, this does not follow along the story of Beastars, and should not be taken as cannon.

Alright, now that I'm done yapping, I do hope you enjoy reading this chapter, and I apologize for some hardcore Beastars fans, but again, as I asked before, please, give this a chance.)

Third person POV:
Somewhere 100 miles out from nearest large Landmass:
Unknown time, early morning:

In the middle of the ocean in another world, on a small, tropical island, it was very peaceful. The bugs were moving along, the trees leaned in the direction of the wind, and there was a tall, gray wolf Anthro laying unconscious on the beach, with his clothes torn and damaged. This attracted the attention of some bugs, who started moving to the wolf, seeing that he was unmoving. However, just as they began getting close, the wolf began coughing, causing them to scatter into the island.

After coughing, he shook his head in pain before looking up, seeing himself on an island he didn't know about. Turning around, he saw an expansive ocean, one that stretched for as far as the eye can see. As he saw this, he calmly asked himself,

???: "Wh-Where am I?"

Turning his head left to right, he didn't see anyone around, further emphasizing the point that he was alone. As he stood up, he turned back inland before walking, thinking that there could be people on the island. However, the island, while fairly sized, wasn't large or had hills, and was flat. Despite the small little tropical shrubbery her found at the center of the island, he searched all over, and found no other forms of life, besides bugs.

Yet, as he looked at the bugs, he wasn't disgusted or apprehensive towards it, instead, he found it calming. Kneeling in front of a palm tree, he extended his right hand to a beetle, which walked onto it. As he slowly spun his hand around, watching the beetle walk on it, he asked the beetle,

???: "Hey little guy, you remind me of Beetly, I wonder if you and him were related."

While he didn't hear or expect a response, he did enjoy watching the beetle walk on his hand, since it helped calm him in his current predicament. He then started to think of his friends, and wondered how he got here. Then, as he stood still, he remembered as the memory's flooded back into his head. He remembered following the trail of a hybrid named Melon to a place called Reaper's Point, only to be captured by that hybrid, tied him to a rolling chair, and sent him falling into the water below.

He remembered drowning, followed by him saying some words in a different language one of his friends taught him. Afterwards, he blacked out before waking up on this island. That remembrance scared him so much that his arms started shaking, the beetle flying away as the surface became to shaky to stand on. Then, he froze in place and opened his mouth in shock as he remembered a person very important to his life that he wished to share as he said,

???: "Haru."

Afterwards, he looked back at the direction that he came from before running back, heading back to the side of the island he washed up in. As he made it back, he started thinking about how long has it been since he got to the island and how long he's been unconscious. As he did, his stomach began violently growling, causing the wolf to fall to his knees, feeling the emptiness of his body's stomach.
