Huntress's POV:
May 18th, 2093, 09:00:
Primary C.A. Base, Canada:

Inside a Powered training room, I was training my powers to be even stronger then before, ever since that day Zero rescued Max and I from that creature. Ever since we got back and reported both Swift's and Sorceress's death to our Master, he didn't have any care about it, both physically and mentally. All he did was request I give the 'spare parts,' as he called the corpses of my sisters, to my Creator.

Besides that, Sayaka and Nabiki both have been looking at me differently, as if watching me for any signs of betrayal. Honestly, I've been having my suspicions about them both ever since that day, and frankly, they're almost always around when I have a mission. When it's somewhere in Canada, they walk away from it, but if it's anywhere in the Eastern Continents, they wait until they know the location before leaving.

Knowing this, I've always made sure I had a direct line to Max whenever possible, and made sure that any mission he had was in Canada or with me elsewhere. Taking control of the mission organizer is easy, doing so without raising suspicion is harder, since every time I take control of someone, I leave behind a marker that stays for a day, and can only be seen by a Powered individual. Normally, I let them finish organizing the missions before sending them off to bed.

Anyways, raising my Psion-Spear, I threw it through a target before using my Psionic control and have it pierce through several training dummies multiple times before bringing it back to my hand. Afterwards I planted it into the ground and saw Psionic spikes pierce out of the ground in a line, piercing through all the dummies it rushed towards. Then, as my attack destroyed the dummies, I used my Telekinesis to pick up the pieces before reforming the dummies back together, using only a single finger.

After putting them all back together, I looked at the dummies for a moment, seeing them each as a member of the Alpha Team, including Zero. After a moment, I sighed before dissipating my Psion-Spear, looking at my hand afterwards, seeing the metallic coating all around it. Honestly, besides Max, Zero has been the very first person to teach me that I'm a person. All I cared about before was following orders and ensuring my purpose was fulfilled, like a machine.

That's how I saw myself at first, nothing more then a machine, having a different personality with Max personally. But now, I don't really see myself as a machine anymore, even though I'm a Cyborg, I'm not really sure what I am to myself. Putting my hand down, I turned around and walked over to a bench, sitting down on it and sighing before looking up at the roof. As I did, I begin thinking about the reports we got days ago.

Apparently, the Alliance managed to secure the Eastern Continents with their allies, the Lost, and defeat a Reaper leader that was under control of my master's master. Now with the Eastern Continents in control of the Lost, the Alliance will have unimpeded access into the Eastern Continents and gain a wealth of resources. Meanwhile, from what I'm hearing, the C.A. army is on it's last legs of resources, with the Alliance already taking more land then anticipated and predicted.

Honestly, if not for my other brothers and sisters...no, the other Cyborgs, then the C.A. would have lost this war already. If I'm being honest, all that the Alliance needs to do is send Zero on an extermination rampage to use and he could easily defeat all the other Cyborgs and soldiers of the C.A. not here within 1 day. The Alliance is likely trying to intimidate the rest of the people in the C.A. to surrender, that no more people need to die.

As much as I can appreciate that mentality, the organics and even the other Cyborgs in the C.A. are too prideful to surrender to 'human monsters and their sympathizers,' as the C.A. calls the Alliance. It's the path the Alliance sees as right, that humans and Anthro's can coexist rather then live in endless conflict. Also, from what I've been hearing, Deinos is now with the Alliance now, constantly with General Greymore, likely keeping watch on him but allowing some semblance of freedom.
