I turned to see Tristan walking down the steps, with a girl next to him.
He was dressed like a football player, which he likely borrowed the outfit from his younger brother, and the girl next to him was dressed like a cheerleader. She was short, shorter than both Katie and I, and she had long, straight chestnut brown hair in a high ponytail. She had plenty of cleavage showing as well.
I felt like I should have been upset, seeing Tristan with yet another girl.
But I wasn't upset. How could I be, with Katie right next to me?
Devin and Callum stopped dancing when they saw Tristan and the girl, and they stood by Katie and I.
Walking next to Tristan was Daniel, who had likely told him to come to the party.
Jayden walked up to Tristan and said, "Tristan, yo man. How's it going?"
Brandon must've heard Tristan's name, because he looked up from where he was talking to Ivy at the bar, and he started making his way over to where we were standing, Ivy following him.
Brandon stared over at Tristan, who was talking to some of the guys at work and then turned to us.
"I had no fucking idea he was going to show up. I'm going to kill Daniel."
My eyes drifted over to Tristan, and he caught my gaze and just stared at me, and then Katie.
If looks could kill.
"Brandon, it's not your fault," Katie reassured him.
"I'll go kick him out right now," Brandon insisted.
"It's okay," I said to Brandon, "We'll just try to avoid him the best we can."
Katie nodded in agreement.
"Why do you hate him so much?" Ivy asked Brandon, looking up at him.
"Besides the fact that he's just a jackass, I hate what he did to Cam," Brandon said, "He's not a good guy, at least in my opinion."
"I agree," Ivy sneered.
I always thought he was a good guy. He's proving me wrong lately.
"Who's the bitch he's with?" Ivy asked, looking over at the two of them, "Is it the girl he cheated on you with, Katie?"
Brandon looked at us, wide-eyed, "Tristan cheated on you? That's why you broke up?"
"Yes," Katie nodded, "Though I was going to break up with him anyway for Cameron."
Katie smiled at me, and I smiled back at her.
Katie then said, "I'm going to assume it's the girl he cheated with. I'm not going to pay them any mind."
"You're better than me," Ivy said, glaring over at Tristan and the girl.
This time, Tristan noticed.
"Hey Ivy," he called out over the song that was playing, "Want to stop looking over at us?"
The girl who he was with also said to Ivy, "Seriously. It's giving obsessed."
"Oh no," Katie mumbled.
Immediately, I knew why she said "Oh no."
"Excuse me?" Ivy said, and she started stomping over to Tristan and the girl, even though Brandon tried to hold her back.
Tristan stepped in front of the girl and faced Ivy, and Katie then started walking up to them.
I decided to follow behind her.
