And as Yoongi held him,
watching as Hoseok drifted off,
he knew,
with every fiber of his being,
that there was no place he'd rather be.
_______________
...Perfect, just like you...
When Hoseok woke up again, there was no Yoongi beside him. He huffed with a pout as he sat up, groaning at the slight ache he felt. His clothes were changed to another of Yoongi's shirt, he smelt like lavender, a sign that Yoongi had bathed for him, although he still smelled like the alpha more than anything else. His always messy bun hair was washed, blow dried and parked up in a pretty ponytail.
Hoseok smiled, wondering how he was able to sleep all through while the alpha took care of him.
Hoseok stretched, wincing a little at the soreness but feeling a rush of warmth at the thought of Yoongi's tenderness. The alpha had been so gentle, so attentive even after everything. He glanced around the room, eyes landing on the door just as it creaked open.
Yoongi stepped inside, holding a tray laden with food. His eyes softened as soon as he saw Hoseok awake. "Good day, sweetheart," he greeted, voice warm and low. "How are you feeling?"
Hoseok couldn't help but smile, his heart swelling at the sight of Yoongi taking care of him. "Sore," he admitted, "but good. Really good."
Yoongi chuckled, setting the tray down on the bed and leaning over to press a soft kiss to Hoseok's forehead. "I thought you might be hungry. It's noon already and you've been asleep all day.
Hoseok's stomach rumbled in response, and he laughed, the sound light and carefree. "You always think of everything, don't you?"
"I try," Yoongi replied, his eyes crinkling with a fond smile as he settled next to Hoseok. He handed him a bowl of steaming soup, and Hoseok took it eagerly, savoring the warmth and the delicious aroma.
They ate in comfortable silence for a few moments before Yoongi spoke up, his voice quieter, more fund. "What do you think, I want to take you out for some fun. Would you love that?"
Hoseok's eyes lit up, sparkles in every corner of his brow orbs. "A date!" He squealed, unable to hold his excitement.
Yoongi chuckled, his shoulders bouncing lightly. "If that's what you people call it, then yes... a date."
"You should know better!" Hoseok huffed, sending the alpha a playful glare.
Yoongi laughed, kissing away the pout on his lips. "I was never the one to date people or be in a relationship, or even dream of getting married. Maybe a one time fling or a friend with benefit on few occasions, but that was all. So... you're actually the first person I'll start something important with.
Hoseok's eyes was as wide as a source pan. "Woah! A whole ass min Yoongi, a mafia Don never dated? So you're a relationship virgin?"
Yoongi bursted out, laughing. "Don't put it that way!"
___
Where are we going? Hoseok asked for the third time that day, but he kept receiving the same answer.
"You'll see, just be patient."
He pouted, glaring at the alpha's side profile as he drove them through the busy streets of Milan, surrounded by towering skyscrapers. They finally reached their destination, and Hoseok gasped as he looked up, the massive silhouette of the Unicredit Tower looming above them, its sleek, modern structure piercing the sky.
"Yoongi..." Hoseok breathed out, eyes wide with awe. "Why are we here?"
Yoongi only smirked, taking Hoseok's hand and leading him inside. They entered a private elevator, and Yoongi pressed the button for the top floor, the ascent smooth and silent. Hoseok felt his heart beat faster with every floor they passed, his excitement growing with each second.
