Sophie sat down at the lunch table with her friends. Dex was giving her a death stare when Keefe wrapped an arm around her.

It had been nearly a week since 'officially' becoming a couple. They hadn't told their friends yet. But Dex was catching on a little too quickly.

She looked up at Keefe and gave him a look. He noticed Dex staring at them and pulled his arm away. Dex squinted, but went back to his food.

"Hey guys," Keefe announced. "Ro is getting married."

"She is?" Linh asked. "I didn't know she had a boyfriend."

He snorted. "She don't."

"Ok...then who is she getting married to."

"Bo."

"Hold up, back up." Tam made his hands like stop signs. "Ro is getting married to a Bo."

"Yup," Keefe confirmed. "That's her boss."

"I thought she hated that guy," Sophie asked

He laughed. "She does."

"Then why-"

"He's loaded."

Everyone at the table let out an, "Ohhhhh."

"Yeah, that definitely sounds like her," Biana told him.

"Well, technically, he'll be loaded once they're married. He had to marry someone his parents approved of before getting his inheritance, and for some reason, they approve of Ro. So basically, he gets his money, and she also gets his money for agreeing to this."

"Huh," she murmured. "I will be taking notes."

Dex shoved her. "No! You're not allowed to be a gold digger."

"We'll see." She smiled.

"When is the wedding?" Sophie wondered.

"I think it'll be next April. But I'm not sure. They're still planning," Keefe answered. "All I know is that his parents are going to pay for it, so it's going to be very fancy."

"Will she move in with him?"

"Yeah, she will. Mainly just to keep up appearances. Neither are thrilled about it." He chuckled.

"So," Dex decided to change the subject. "Sophie, Keefe. What have you two been up to?" His grin was downright evil.

Keefe found his voice first. "Nothing much. Why?"

Dex turned to Sophie. "You sure?"

"I'm sure." And she knew exactly what he meant.

"So, Dexy," Keefe chimed in. "What about you and Biana."

Sophie had never seen the smirk on someone's face drop so fast. A blush appeared on his cheeks. Biana stopped laughing and went to stare at her tray.

Everyone else started snickering. Tam told Dex. "You know you just set yourself up right-"

"Shut it," Dex warned. "I get it."

Sophie and Keefe both snorted.
