It's been two weeks since Noella's wedding , I've been so busy with my apprenticeship and spending the rest of my free time with Calvin that it feels like I haven't seen the girls in years.
Ok that's a little dramatic, but it's been too long . So I arranged in our old lady gang group chat for the four of us to grab brunch at this new cafe that's like twenty five minutes away from the compound.

We are going to drive together in Iris's car with our guards following us from behind. I've missed the girls so much but I've been kinda rushing to finish my apprenticeship. I just want to be done and be able to help the old ladies here at the compound. I also want to prove to everyone that I can accomplish something like this. That I am actually smart.
Just as I had finished checking up on Lucipurr, cloud and the kittens I heard Acid coming in through the front door . Acid actually finished his apprenticeship a couple weeks ago . I was so happy and proud of him. I actually threw him a little surprise party here at the Barn house. I made a cake and everything. It was a ton of fun and the look of happiness on his face meant everything to me.
So for the past couple weeks Acid has been booking appointments at the tattoo shop around my schedule. So that he can be there for me when Calvin is working at the garage or doing club business. Unfortunately Calvin told me a few days ago that Acid won't be my guard for much longer . Calvin told me Acid has no idea about this , apparently Venom is ready to patch him in.
When I first got here Calvin had explained to me that when prospects first arrived they underwent training before they were moved to guard duty. Either of the compound or an old lady. They still have other duties for the club but the most important job they do is guarding. Venom and the council watch the prospects and when they see fit , they bring up the prospect they believe is ready to be patched in during church and then the council takes it to a vote.
The vote at church when Venom brought Acid's name to the table was unanimous. The patch in ceremony will be tonight. No one ever knows before hand who the prospect getting patched in is until Venom holds out his Cut at the ceremony except for the council. They had also decided it was ok for me to know in advance to make sure I didn't have a bad reaction. And that I had time to process this news.
